Why wasn't there a Black Friday Sale on Gems? Will there be one the day after Xmas?

I was just wondering why there wasn't a Black Friday or Cyber Monday sale on gems? And, if you guys were thinking of doing one on the 2nd largest shopping day of the year...December 26th? Everyone is going to be having sales, and so should you! 50% off sounds like an awesome idea.

Because black friday and cyber monday are not world wide things. Some people would likely not appreciate it:

They've never had a gem sale for CoC. Don't hold your breath for one.

they have never put gems on sale.

supercell doesn't discount gems because they have no need to. Sales are strong.
