Boost time options for army troops

I think it would be nice to be able to choose the amount of time you want to boost your barracks, spell factory, and heroes.

Playing non-stop for 2 hours can be a grind. I think 1 hour would be more manageable, and maybe even as low as 30 minutes.

There are many times I'd like to use my lunch hour to get in some raiding. Even a BARCH army of 120 archers and 80 barbs is going to take me 50 minutes to train. Sure you can mix up the ratio, but you're still looking at having at least 30 min to train up a camp.

Boost those barracks and speed it up by 4x and you can pull off quite a few attacks in an hour, but you are still wasting an hour of boosting and the associated gems.

I'd even support a slight increase in boost cost - 2 hours currently costs 10 gems per barracks, spell factory, or hero. Maybe cut that down to 1 hour at a cost of 6 gems.

Is it too much to ask for an option to boost for a lower amount of time?

50 minutes for a BARCH army? Hardly. They already reduced the boost from 4 hours to 2. I think that's more than enough.

Yeah, 50 did sound a little high......20-25 min sound better? Assuming barracks of level 10, 9, 8, and 7. 50 archers is just under 21 min. 60 barbs is 20 min. All 4 going at the same time.

Either way, checking my logs, boosting can get me an attack every 6 mins or so (slightly longer since I usually take a couple of breakers and giants).

I'm glad they reduced it from 4 hours to 2, and I'm glad that you think it's more than enough. I think a 1 hour option would be nice. Isn't it nice that we can all have an opinion and discuss it?

Shoot, why not raise the boost to 8 hours? Wait, apparently SuperCell says we can't play for longer than 6 hours. Maybe all the boosts should be for 6 hours?

I think casual players would be more inclined to spend 24 gems to boost for an hour than they would 40 for 2 hours.

Seems simple enough to have a boost option that would then pull up a time option.

Remember way back in the olden days when we had to boost each barracks separately? And re-arm all traps individually? Apparently they've recently made some programming breakthrough that allows you to do it with a single push. Maybe someday in the future they can add a more complicated option like choosing how long you want to boost?
