A short and sweet explanation of your reason(s) for leaving is always nice.

We have people come and go all the time. Good folks leave a message, it is never taken badly. There are numerous clans and personalities in this game. We're farmers that war once a week. If something is better for someone, we do nothing but wish them well. they sometimes reurn. lol

Pretty much this. I'd suggest do it around the time a season ends (when all the donations go to zero and we lose our league shield). This way you can say that you've had fun and it's time for a fresh start. Good luck to everyone in their clashing.

Also, make sure not to leave in the middle of a war. That's just wrong. ;)

I was thinking in my head "Wow this sounds just like my clan...". Then I looked at who posted the message and realized it is my clan. :p But you are right, I always prefer someone to actually say something instead of just leaving without saying a single thing.

"Hey beloved fellow clashers, I've been offered cookies somewhere else and i'm feeling that the cow producing milk is getting old, Soo i hope you guys understand why i'm doing this, KKBYETHX" Hit the leave and you out.

Aslong as you leave a message any message befor leaving, you are already showing them respect.
