Very much still possible. Pushed from c3 on monday of thanksgiving week to champs on the following monday.
Filled two barracks with 50 barbs and 15 archers and the other two with 75 archers before every raid. Always have 5 lighting spells with ya, and heroes too. I gemmed SF, and heroes. Pick bases very carefully, after a few barch raids, you will will have a keen eye for those 50% bases. Just drop barbs on each side with archers and pick off buildings! Remember builder huts and hero tombs can be destroyed with one lighting strike. I would leave COC on while my troops are cooking, prob spent 4-6 hours a day.
Toughest stretch was getting pass 3050 cups, after that , I decided to boost everything and in one day got from 3050 to 3248.
The loot bonus is beautiful, you will be filled of resources. Prob upgraded 10 lvl 9 walls during that time and upgraded my hounds from lvl1 to lvl3.
As for a trophy base or anything, I would recommend just keeping your town hall out after 3000 trophies, the -1 cups are better than losing -25 cups.

Yes it certainly is, in savage seven, there is townhall 5 at 4000 trophies. That is pretty awesome. Takes a lot of effort. 😊
I doubt without a lot of dedication and sleepless nights it's possible, in the last 3 days I havent seen one genuine th out and easy to get to.

I think the biggest problem your gonna find is th snipes are rare due to the last update. The bonus makes it worthwhile to just snipe ths. You will be competing with almost all th levels for snipes. I'm in masters currently I find more collector raids than snipes. Also when I log of im sniped almost immediately and most are th9 and th10.

I'm at masters 2 (2800 cups) and there are 0 snipes...
I have 2 guys in my donating clan that came from savage seven, really great dudes btw! They have pushed with th7 and th5. They say it takes alot of practice and patients, as well as endless "nexts" Happy Clashing!
Took me 12 days of 6h sessions as a th3. So 72 hours to snipe to champs, its very achievable.
