It is very easy. If you are not in the war (spectating) you should not be allowed to see anyones war bases or cc troops. Spectating people can not donate, so why can they see all the bases? That is just stupid and would be an easy solution to problem of spying.

You all should stop being so high and mighty when offering this solution as to many clans it does not help because they want to grow in people.

All you people who want to play the game your way and demand that SC change the game to meet your playing style aren't thinking very much.

If you chose to war 24/7 that's your choice, you need to make adjustments to your playing style to fit the game environment not expect, in your high and mighty way, that things chance to suit you.

All the the players who suggest you close your clans durring war belong to clans themselves, they all seem to find a way to keep thier clans active, growing and warring while at the same time using anti spying tools like closing thier clans. If they can do it so can you, stop demanding SC make the game easier to cover for you lack of playing skills or becuase you use bad strategy...

not scared just stretching the boundaries.

If you are a clan that does wars all the time - good for you... probably not a serious war clan as most require some time to farm inbetween wars to build on base. If you are fighting in wars properly you only recover the costs of elixer from troops with the war bonus.

I wouldn't say this is ♥♥♥♥♥ing at all. It's a tactical move.

whether it is ethical or not remains an entirely different chapter but i would do it anyday if possible and will do everything to close the possibility for others.

we don't accept any members during war time (we war once a week). We close our clan, increase the reqd trophies and instruct all our co/elders not to invite/accept anyone until the war is over

We do war 24/7.

We open clan when facing any non war clans (or weak ♥♥♥ war clans) which is 80% of wars.

We open clan when we have a huge lead.

End result is clan is open 80% of the time. We won 45 of our last 46 wars so I guess this is working not so bad.

So yes closing clan IS a solution even for non stop wars. Learn to be a better clan leader.

Not necessarily true, whilst skill do play a massive part of the victory, well chosen defensive cc troops and trap placement can be the difference between 1, 2 or 3 stars. If I can trigger all your traps with 4-5 minions/loons and 6-7 barbs from the get go, well I think I've got a massive advantage to begin with! Spying is playing dirty, and that's one of the issue this thread is about.

That's fine and it is YOUR opinion, as well as the thread JHMSMLED111 raised his "voice" for his own opinion. Personally, I think the clan are very well matched considering all the parameters involved. And that is MY opinion ;)

It is unfortunate, but as a precaution, wat i do as a counter measure is as i am about to start war, i close the clan and open it up when sar is over, hence this problem can be avoided all together. 😊

Welp. Looks like ive made a fool of myself. Just had never heard of spying before and the level to which this clans website had gone to shocked me.

Spying happens all the time. But I will concede that the guys you described have taken it to a crazy level. But also I still think that the advantage they gain for all that hard work is not that much if any. Good war guys can analyze a base without the peek show.

And if does give them some advantage that makes or breaks their war ability (I.E> I am wrong above) then they must take serious beat downs from all the guys on this thread that close their clans.

I see several 24x7 guys here saying they manage this without a problem. Check their posts for advice on how they do it.

But also you could try having a feeder clan then. If you are really warring that intensly while at the same time having a lot of turnover (if I understand correctly you need it open for all the in/out activity that goes on) you would benefit from having a place for the guys stepping out to go while they rest, and also a place you can stage a guy. If you are just rolling in new members and starting war right away you gotta be having hopper problems. But if they go chill in a farm clan for a couple days the hoppers will leave so you can filter them off before you get into any commitments with them. And then the time (a quick one between wars) for guys to jump back and forth can be communicated and they all know when to move.

That's crazy he went to that much trouble lol, what a little freak.
