Question 2) You say stay over 1500 cups, but is there also a top, like don’t go over XX level? Is 1500 the level were there is a lot of not so strong TH9’s?

Your questions have been answered in my guide. I am glad you liked the guide, nobody thinks of using the loot reduction as a strength when choosing raids.

Yeah my base currently works very well, glad you liked it. I will be th8 in a couple more days.

Attacking TH10 for DE

He Ninja,

What do you think, is your DE hunt even more valuable when attacking TH10? I guess the bonus is huge for attacking these guys. But then again, better attack them before they upgrade all the new anti air he he.

Me, I havent gotten around to upgrading.. derp... updating my guide since I wrote it as I just hit TH 8.
It'll be a while before I make the next push to upgrade the BK to lvl 10. I'll do Dark Farming 201 then, with info more relavent to that task...

Following the guide, my experience

Hi Ninja,

I saw this guide weeks a go and decided to go for it (even copied your base). Upgraded hard and went for it.

My experience is: excellent! After starting the DE raiding tour, I got my barb king fast, and within 10 days I have it upgrading to lvl 4, so very happy here. I went for the 8 dragon/40 archer attack all the time and I got huge raids with up to 3.000 DE per attack, but a normal take would be 1.000. It actually went so well that I kept going up in trophie count as I got one star at least all the time. By the time I got to 1850 trophies I noticed that opponents bases are stronger upgraded (anti air but also strong X-bows) and it got more difficult to get the DE and or the star. I guess with lvl 2 dragons you can still hunt around there, but I have lvl 1. So the best hunting grounds are from 1600 to 1850, is my experience.

On the way up I saw a lot of guys upgrading to TH10, so that is going to be even better as the bonus is 200% for a TH7. I attacked a few, even against an inferno tower and it was OK (off course these guys were not fully upgraded like Jorge).

One comment is that I normally broke even on elixer or won 50.000 or so. But that means that you cannot do expensive elixir upgrades when DE raiding. So better do these earlier. Gold upgrades go fine as you will earn enough gold.

I could attack 1 time each one and a half hour, because that is the time it takes to get 3 lightning spells (you really need those to take out one air defense). So it is not necessary to get all barracks to lvl 9 as this is not the bottleneck for attacking.

All in all excellent guide that helped me a lot. Nice.

I am glad it worked out for you. I would highly suggest keep doing this until you upgrade minions and maybe hog riders. I was doing minion raids at th8 and was getting easy 400-700k raids every time.

Yes with level 2 dragons you can get much higher in trophy count, if I could do it again I would stay and upgrade hog riders as well to really max TH7.

Getting all barracks to 9 allows you to raid more times, and attack those th9-10 bases who dont bother upgrading their air defenses.
