Thanks very much for this, But 1 question? i am at Th 7 (maxed everything out) and have 200 troop capacity. i am at 1470 trophie range and i cant seem to find any easy bases to raid do u know why? :confused:

Yes there are many threads, but none have a lot of the details as mine does. Some have just quick tips, or quick army comps etc. I put everything in this thread, and will try and keep it updated with questions people ask

@clasher-- you need to be above 1600 trophies to start finding lots of people with dark elixir. around 1800 is where it becomes common.

@OP -- it's nice that you put this together, but someone with a maxed TH7 would honestly be a lot better just going to TH8, where it's MUCH easier to get dark elixir. using all dragon raids to get dark elixir with a maxed TH7 is also not very efficient. if you're at TH7 and want to max your barb king, you're better off doing it as you level. just triple lightning TH9s (they love it, and won't come running to the forums to complain) during revenges and target drills/storages when you are strong enough to attack in the 1600+ trophy range. like all things in this game, it just requires a bit of patience.

Yes that maybe true, but this is for town hall 7s trying to get barb king, maxing out their base, getting dark elixir upgrades. I did it at th7 because I wanted to max out my base. Only thing that won't be maxed before I hit th8 will be hog riders.

While raiding with dragons might not be efficant, but it gets the job done. I also used 2 other army's which did well. Triple lighting at th8 vs th9 also gets less loot compared to doing it at Th7.

I had no trouble getting DE using regular strikes with a single rage and the occasional lightning for defender troops (keep two rages and a lightning queued) Only a moron would use that many dragons, the cycle time is huge. My cycle is around 24 minutes with 12 wb, 12 giants, 16 goblins, 48 barbs, and 50 something archers (another 20+ in clan building)

Nice guide, I only have a couple elixir upgrades left on my TH7 but I've completely neglected DE stuff. I've been thinking I will just stay at TH7 for awhile and focus on DE.

That army comp is similar to one of the ones that I the posted. At least read the whole guide. There could defiantly be better army comps/players out there for this, but I attacked th9 exclusivlly and got to their storages deep into their base.

I am not sure what th are you or what you were attacking but if it works for you and you are maxed then great. This is a guide for people who need help. Why read this if you got such good army already? I can tell you one thing though I was averaging at least 1,000 dark elixir an hour. Which is pretty good for a th7.
