I am not new to clash but I have never been in gold 1 before so I do not know the best attack strategy.:confused: I have every possible troop for a town hall 8, so can somebody please help me before it is too late!

For farming? Barch for sure. Some like throwing goblins into the mix. I don't.
Barch (Barbarian Archers) GobBarch or GiBarch for collectors and storages.
I usually use 6-8wb, 80/100 barb/arch or 20 gob/60barb/100arch roughly.
Sometimes 6-8 giants, 40 barbs, 100 arch roughly...use giants to clear path to storages followed by gobs/barbs/arch/wiz
If I am looking for higher storages I sometimes use 8-10 wizards and 30-40 less barbs/archers.
I find it difficult to barch some bases in gold 1 so I skip alot, max th8 hard to barch if laid out right.
My recent attacks:
8 wb, 97 barb, 112 arch
66 barb, 77 arch, 30 gob, 6 wb, 4 min, 7 wiz
82 barb, 98 arch, 9 gob,2wb
79 barb, 77arch, 8 wb, 33 gobs
2 wb, 80 arch, 77 barb, 9 gob, 6 hogs (testing hogs taking out AirDef)
57 barb, 6 wb, 4 hogs, 101 arch, 16 gobs, 2 minions (testing taking out AD)
39 barbs, 94 arch, 8wb, 18 mins, 20 gobs (getting fat storages)
111 barbs, 89 arch
8 giants, 8 wb, 82 arch, 67 barb
100 barb, 87 arch, 2 giant, 4 wiz (just what was left after donating and ready for me to raid with).
I think it is most important to fill barracks before you raid. Usually I will do 2 wb, barb in 2 racks, 2 wb, arch in 2 racks. Sometimes I don't us wb so I will take whatever is left in barracks and put wb last and switch from barb to arch....so it looks like 22 arch, 2 wb, rest barb cause there were 22 arch left in barracks when I got back from raid.
