Current max space for gold and exilir is about 8M instead of 200k for store dark exilir.
I think it's better to be a compareable value about 14M to be balance with upgrade cost.

Id like to find a storage with 14mil in it
Take for instance I have four fully loaded storage (8M). my worker ends his work 4 hours later, and the next one will be free of work tomorrow. Also I have two updates in the line that cost about 6 to 7.5 M. at this time playing is waste of time because the storage is full and closing the game is waste of gold (Elixir) because some of it will be stolen. and in the next day my worker has nothing to do because I was unable to make its requirement.
Happens. Try to have one gold and one elixir thing you upgrade. And spend all excess on walls. Safe with both upgrades going.
