Best Place for DE?

What's the best league/range for DE between the trophies of 1200-2400? I don't want to be up too high or down too low.

For a person that's a TH9, no x-bows, 4 maxed mortars, 3 maxed wiz towers, and rest TH8 # of stuff and TH8 lvl (no 4th wiz tower), should I be expected to have my TH sniped nearly every time (if in corner, away from defs, surrounded by 2 layers of decors), or get hit hard almost every time? What should I try to keep my gold and lix lvl below?

I'm farming, so I'm only gonna be using up to wall breakers, minions, and hogs for luring maybe. Spells only if needed.

How will I find DE in the range you give me? I'm looking for high lvled full or almost full drills, preferably min of 1K each raid. Or will I mainly have to go after storages?

Well, I found the best amount of DE between 1800 - 2200. If your th is in the corner and you have low - mid range in resources, you most likely will get sniped. If your th is in the corner and you have a lot of resources, you will probably get sniped and other th9's and 10 will do their best to get the loot at the same time. I also recommend getting that 4th wizard tower soon and upgrading that, it well help a considerable amount.

How will you find DE? Just depends on the day, time, week etc. Sometimes there will be many collector raids and sometimes there will be none where you'll have to go for storages.

The higher you go the better, so it would be best to go at least crystal. 1400 trophies doesnt have great DE...
keep your TH outside so it will be sniped instead of having resources taken.

I'm a TH9 and I steal a lot of dark elixir in Gold I and Crystal III using BAM. :)

I'd suggest staying in Gold 1 which will provide you with some DE while getting you gold and elixer to continue to upgrade, and push into Crystal 2/3 where DE is more plentiful, after you are in less need for gold and elixer.

You cannot expect to find these on a regular basis. Sorry. I do 300-500+ raids per season and rarely get more than 1 big DE raid per day. Sometimes I get 0.

Yes. Mostly storages.

The higher you go, the more DE you'll see. I have good luck using BAM around 1900-2050 trophies. And I still get a decent number of collector (G & E) raids.

Chrystal is swimming in DE, but you will get smacked hard if you hold onto too much elixir(and to some extent, gold)


(my experience, so far.....)

Im a near maxed TH9 and I find lots in Crystal 2 and 1. At the moment, I stay away from Masters 3 because of all the TH10s.
