Some people work full time and many live in various time zones across the world.
I don't think there's anything broken that needs fixing...
If they changed it, it would just cause complaint thread asking to extend prep time 24 hours again. Can't please everyone,
Usually our war castles and our enemies castles are full within a couple of hours. It's not like everyone needs to be logged on for prep day, just enough to fill the castles.
Another idea would be to give clans a "start war" button, which leaders and co's could press. Once both clans push the button, prep day is over and the war begins.
Sure it would inconvenience some people, but not as much as having to wait 24 hrs for a war to start.
24 hour wait time inconviences no one except for the impatient.
12 hour prep time is a huge inconvience when playing players across the globe. People work and sleep.
So to sum up, impatient people are not going to be catered to at the expense of the majority who would be hurt by this.
No. This is not happening. Time zones are different, even within the same clan. Many clans use things like clashcaller to call attacks and 24 hours is better for those clans. If you were in a good clan you would know that organization of attacks and bases is needed. It would offset the war time and effectively destroy participation and the fun of clan wars.
How about give it an option for each clan to agree on.
Example:
Clan A wants to end prep day and start the war. Clan A leader(only) hits button requesting to end prep day.
Clan B get notification on that Clan A wants to end prep day and start the war already. Then Clan B leader(only) can decide whether or not to accept this request or not.
If Clan B accepts request then prep day ends and war starts. If they decline it then the prep day continues as normal
Now clan B leader has the upper hand. Clan A leader gave up a key power: first strike at prime time.
Now clan b can pick when he starts a war. Could be at 4am your time and by the time you log on, the score is 70-3. While you may be strong enough to catch up, it will demoralize many players. Some may attack higher then they should, make a stupid mistake because they are nervous about catching up.
I'd rather have the availability of knowing exactly when a war will start. Right at our clans prime time. Like our current war, we just started and the score is 51-11. Last war we got to 65-4, the other team basically gave up!and the final score became 81-23. We hit them hard right off of the gates to demoralize their team. Experiences players may not bat an eye, but your lower half will. Some may just say to themselves, "Screw it, I'm saving my elixir" and hit too low or not at all.
Why not have the option when starting war to either A start regular war or B a speed war where prep/war time are cut down drastically. You can only be matched with clans searching for the same type, so both sides would be in agreance on the shortend times
AxionXD i mean either Clan A or Clan B can do that with speeding the war and vis versa.
