Should I be insulted?

So I've had a war base that I've been using the past couple wars, usually takes 4 or 5 attacks to get the three star with repeated (failed) one star attacks. But ever since I started using it, it's been attracting attention from the opposing clan who are TH10 or a nearly maxed TH9. I'd release it to the public, but I can't test it in war since we all know that TH8 vs TH10, TH10 is going to win. I'm fairly new to TH8 anyway, it's not fair.

This war I attracted the attention of their number 4 out of 30. Their clan has 38 war wins and I'll just post the clan tag. #8GJLQ299. I got obliterated, don't worry about that, but still, why?! Should I be insulted or honored that their #4 thought to attack me?

You should be happy, #4 wasted an attack on an easy base.

But his second attack he attacked someone in his league (relatively) and got a two star raid out of it.

It's their strategy : make sure to 3 star the little ones before getting what you can frome bigger ones.

Or it is a guy chasing achievement, whatever, in this game we almost all are preys for a (much ?) bigger one

horrible strategy if your top guys waste their attacks on lower bases. who are your lower people going to attack then
