Upgrade Archer or Giant first?

I am trying to farm enough 6 million elixir for my first 6m troop upgrade. Initially I thought of doing ballon first, but I dont use it often. When I do farming, I bring along barch + giant. Hence, I am thinking of upgrading the one I use more often as priority.

However, between Archer and Giant, I am still pondering which one should I upgrade first.

the answer is so obvious, giant

agree. I don't use giants but huge increase at lvl 6.

Do Giants, they get a HUGE boost at level 6 and are beasts
then do archers

To farm 6m elixir is really a challenge to me. I hope I can get it done by this weekend!

Giants if you use them, Archers if you dont.

They are great to donate to lower clan members as well

Neither if you love warring. Do Golems, Witches, Hogs and Loons first. :D Definitely not Archers as a priority, with only a +2 dps it's not much of a bump in stats. Giants are cool but they don't benefit war and a Lvl5 Barch farms just fine.
