I get lots of it from my clan mates, they are awesome. But I would like outside input.... about attack strategies.
I am a mid lvl TH8. Gold III. My recent war attacks have been 1-2 stars instead of 3. My farming raids have gone from almost total loot collection to barely half of what is available per raid.
What am I doing wrong? Where do i need to focus with my upgrades? Any advice for troop combo's?
My stats:
- Army camp 200 (max for th8)
- barracks can cook dragons, and one is now in upgrade for pekka.
- Dark barracks are up to valkyries, no golums yet.
- Troops: lvl 5; wizard giant barb archer and loon... lvl 4 WB and goblin. Lvl 3 Dragon. lvl 2 healer (dont use healers, maybe thats a poblem?)
- BK lvl 5.
- Spells; Lvl 5 lightning. Lvl 4 rage and heal (no jump spell at TH8)
In war, mass dragons stood well for me until the last 2 wars. I thought that once i got the lvl 3 dragons my attacks would go even better, but they are not. Our clan policy is to attack mirror first, so my first war attack is usually very similar in ranks to me. I hate not pulling in 3 stars for my clan, i am the leader, I feel like it lets them down.
I am a good clan leader, I mean if I was not, my players would not be loyal and stick around, we are 30-2 in wars,with the 2 losses being withing 5 stars, so we must be doing something right... So it feels like it is just ME that is falling behind somehow.
In farm raids I am pretty effective in barch... Or I was. I used to pull in 200k elix and gold and 200-500 DE every raid, with 50% or more of those raids gaining me a star as well. Now the only bases with that much loot are impossible for me to barch, but when I try other troop combo's I fail utterly.
Please, some advice on troop combo's for war and farming? Perhaps I need to drop to silver? what should I focus on next?
