The Next Challenge! I Guarantee You Will Lose

So how long have you spent hitting that next button? Let's do a little approximation of the numbers. I guarantee nobody wins in this challenge. You've spent some serious time hitting that awful button and you're never getting it back.


Here's how you play! (modifed)

Take your average Time spent hitting that next button, or approximate it at 5-10 minutes.

Now simply multiple that Time by your Conqueror stat to get the amount of your life wasted forever. Mine is 2,383. I know we don't win them all, but this is just an approximation.Feel free to change the number you have in minutes to hours by dividing by 60, or into days by diving again by 24.

How'd you do? My time wasted searching for loot was 14,298 minutes, or 238 hours. That's 9.92 days of nothing but hitting next!!!


The poll was based on the old way I was thinking of calculating this, would have gone with a higher range doing it this way, but oh well. :)

And more to the point,
8,245 minutes divided by 1374 attacks means you're attacking at a rate of once every 6 minutes. That's pretty good.

As stated in the first post this is only an approximation, but that's a good point. Lets use the conqueror stat instead, that makes this much easier too. Lemme go edit that first post.

I think 6 minutes is horrible.... I can't stand hitting that button.

After farming level 11 walls I have surely spent well over 33 days nexting.

Or even gold grab divided by conqueror. Gives what you get on average per raid.

This would mean that you always win !

It happens that you press next and get loot (or even get almost nothing) but do not add anything to your conqueror counter

Yes this is a very inaccurate approximation. A lot of my farming was done at lower leagues (gold) where I didn't care whether I won or lost as the league bonus was peanuts. In fact I often lost on purpose to maintain my trophy level where I wanted it. I would say that my conqueror stat probably misses off at least one third of the battles I have had.

There have been a lot of failed but awesome loot battles for me. An secondly even at TH7 I had 900 TH snipes. So don't you think my Conqueror is vastly biased considering the difference between my Conqueror and humiliator is just 500

So it's been pointed out a number of times that conqueror understates the number of raids due to losses. That just means the method underestimates the time spent nexting.

I got a conq of 4368, so assuming 5 mins per raid nexting that is a minimum of slightly over 15days nexting. Incorporating a factor for losses, of which there are few now, but there were loads in my lower TH days, I'm probably around 3 weeks solid nexting.

1876 x about 7 min. Per next = 9.1 days. -.- wasted over a week tapping a piece if glass

We're spending week(s) of our lives tapping "next" to find loot. And some people still say there isn't a loot problem...

I don't mind the time spent actually attacking, but this is days/weeks/months spent looking at bases that don't offer any good loot for the most part.

To you and the others who pointed this one out: Yep, it's definitely going to be on the low side of the estimate. If you lose half your battles or even maintain a specific trophy range for farming that can significantly increase the number. I think it's shocking how high it is anyways. To think it could easily be double that for quite a few us is mind boggling.

This really is the crux of the loot problem. Loot is out there, I'm pushing towards the 6 mil elixir for my loon upgrade now and already hit 7 million gold as a by product. But that took looking at a lot of bases that are just there to be skipped over.
