Gem boxes and Christmas Trees/Halloween Headstones can spawn in any space they fit in I believe. I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure that's how it works. Normal obstacles cannot spawn however in any occupied tiles.Quote:

gem boxes have their own spawn rate and probably this is specific to them too
