The animal collect/feed icon in grey and color very disturbing

Hi,

can you please remove the collect icon, when there is nothing to collect?
Just as it was before the winter update?
I find it hard to see if the bucket (for the cows and goats) is in color (able to gather (goat)milk) or grey (nothing to gather).
Also when you have more then 1 chickenbarn for example, you could take the feeding icon of one barn (where there were no chickens to feed) and drag it to the other barn where there are chickens to feed.
This is not possible anymore.
Can you please change this back to the way it was before the winter update?

I agree! I find it very hard to look at! Its hard to tell if its high lighted or not.

I agree as well, this has been confusing me all day. For me I'm sure the sheep clippers have been greyed out when there has been wool to collect, as well. :confused:

I agree. Please remove the collect icon when there is nothing to collect. Or select another visual method which more obviously distinguishes collect from non-collect such as a circle with a line through it. The collect icon and nothing-to-collect icon are now too similar when the collecting pail is gray to start with. I do like the color change on the feed bag when there are no more animals to feed. All of the feed bags are beige when there are hungry animals and gray when there are not. It would also work if the feed bag icons appear only when there are hungry animals.

I too agree with this. And so does everyone in our NH. Before you could drag the collect basket from pen to pen, now it is more difficult. It does not flow the way it did before the update.

I am visually challenged and play on very large tablet. It is very confusing, detracts from play and is of no purpose! It used to be a joy to harvest an d feed my animals now it is a real chore and a bore!

It's been distracting for the players in my hood and friends hood. Maybe if the colors were changed,.or the greyed out was darker. I never saw a reason that it needed to be adjusted anyway, I like your feeding much better than other games. I love the town Info near the train, it helps so much.

I don't need the icons to see wether my animals need feeding or can produce stuff.

Also it bothers me that you have to be in the specific pen to ie milk the cows. Before the update the animals where seen as one group instead of different pens. Much easier.

Not only is it very confusion and disturbing... also i lost now 2 times diamonds because of it... and yes i did clicked the options to have to click twice ... but it still let me loose 2 times diamonds... this update and the help notifications in chat needs to be back the way it was...please

In my opinion, it's a brilliant idea. It works very well with the chickens. It's true that the difference is more subtle for the other animals and at the beginning I was confused too, but after one day playing, I'm now used to it and can tell the difference pretty easily :) Congrats SC team.

Agreed! The first thing i noticed about this new update is that the collect icon should disappear once the animals are fed completely.

I agree, it's annoying.

When cow and goat bucket can't be used, its handle is also grey. Otherwies is light brown. Detials, details ;) .

I admit, at first I didn't like this new way, but now I do. My animals, especially chicken, sometimes hides (hungry chicken between fed up chicken) and don't want to be fed. Maybe they are on a diet or something :D . Now I know exactly in wich pen is that hungry chicken and I can quickly feed it.

Yes, for the feeding, it's fine - it's the collecting part that's not fine. For example, you are shearing your sheep. The clippers really don't look much different whether you have sheep to shear or not. Why have them visible at all? Same with the milk buckets, and the bacon collector (whatever you call that!) - the only animal you can easily tell is with the chickens - the basket is brown when you can get eggs. There's no reason to even SEE the collection tool if you can't collect, really. Having it greyed out is not a big enough difference, considering they are all mostly grey in the first place. It seems much simpler, and much more straightforward, to just not have the (shears, bucket, bacon-squeezer, basket) visible at all if you can't use it.

Don't focus on the item. Focus on the arrow underneath.

Anyway the grey-out feature of the feed button is apreciated, so i will not say anything about the hypothetical color change of the bucket. :)

BTW Lobster Pool has the same feature from the start, but without the footmark text. Now duck saloon is that way also.

How about u have a news paper everyday that would have items in it that u could ether pay with ur coins or dimonds for axis, saws, deeds mallets stacks but u can only get these items once a week like if buy axis u can't buy anymore till the following week r farms r getting over crowded and it SUCKS

yep I agree. as the colors are very similar, I can't tell if there's any milk to collect or not. I like it the way it was before.

Yestrday i was going to say i gree with u guys but not anymore,
It is very helpful .. Look at the arrow if it is orange means you need to collect or feed your animals
if it is grey it means you dont need to.

I totally agree!!!!!

I like the new system. my animals hide behind trees like in picture above and arrows show me if I have to collect or feed them.

I came here to complain about the recent change to the feed icons. Very annoying. This is bad enough it should be considered a bug.

I agree to the original post. You can look for the gray vs not gray, but it's not always clear on the first look. I miss the original approach (hiding something until you can use them).

Mmm. I don't like the new icons either. More difficult to see what you are doing and kind of utilitarian. Grey. Mismog. I preferred the old way , I have to say.
