I'm not sure if this helps but I had an idea about if someone requests for troops, you can donate with a special feature or something without having to go on CoC. Let's say you are on twitter and a "request notification" pops up, you can donate on the spot by selecting what you want to donate while being on another app rather than going on the app. It helps by conserving your batter and an easier way for you to support your clan mates.
