That happens when you are eligible to play 2 farms:
- one currently on your device
- one stored on Supercell's server (in the cloud) but your Game Center account retrieves it for you.
I'm not sure what you should do for now as it might affect other farms on other devices or attached to that GC account.
In my case (on Android), i had to reinstall the app (not sufficient storage to update) and was able to choose the farm like this:

Why is it that after I choose which farm I want to choose, it keeps asking me over and over again after each thing I do??? I go to my fishing hole it asks me, I go to someone elses farm it asks me, I go to the newspaper it asks me. I just want to pick the farm I want to play on and be done with it. In the past the little window came up on occasion to ask me which farm I wanted and then it would go away and not pop up again. With the new update this stupid window keeps popping up every two seconds and I want it to stop!!! At least give us a setting that we can mark off to say we don't want to be bothered by this choose your farm window. PLEASE FIX

I got 1 account for me & 1 for my wife playing both same Game Center , now every time I open the game or try to help other farmer or buy something from other farmer( now I can't buy because I'm 1 step behind) , even go to my fishing spot.The game keep pop up asking about " Choose your farm " . This is so much annoying. Anyone had this issue ? SC please fix this. Put its back like used to .

Visit this site https://appleid.apple.com/ and create an Apple ID. Use this Apple ID in Game Center. Each farm should be used/attached/linked to ONE GC id only. There are risk of losing farm with same GC id :(.Quote:

I already have an Apple ID and am not able to create another one. I have been playing HD on two Ipads (each with a different farm) on the same GC account for over a year already with no problems. Now you have the update and now on the one farm I keep getting this annoying window that asks me to choose a farm for every little thing I do. It is very annoying and very unnecessary. Just put it back the way it use to be that the window came up asked once which farm and let it be. I am not the only one having this issue. Why touch something that didn't need to be fixed????

And sorry moderator, we should not be setting up other game centre accounts. Its an obvious bug on this roll out that we didn't have before and I suggest you put the request into the tech team to fix it!

Until yesterday my wife and I use the same game center account. We have different farm levels and it was working.
Today after the winter update, I've created a new Apple ID for my wife and changed it in her game center on her iPhone.
Now every time I want to connect to my facebook account, Hay Day tells me that there is another farm in the Cloud (my wife's one) and ask me to select a farm. I select my lokal one and Hay Day turns of the facebook connection. The question to select the farm (local or from cloud) comes again and again.
The funny thing is that on my wife's iPhone, logged in with her new Apple ID in the game center, she got the same question: Her farm is local and my farm is in the cloud.
I think this is a bug in Hay Day. If I select my local farm, it must be stored into the cloud and overwrite the clouds version. The help page suggest this behaviour because it says you should be carefull by selecting the correct farm.
Please fix this bug or tell my a way to delete the clouds version of the farm (without reset of my iPhone to factory settings!)
Before the last update my wife and I we used two ipad each his farm, with the same account of game center. Now instead on his farm as usual, indeed no longer asks what the farm wants to use, usually before he asked only once when the game started. On my ipad instead always asking me what I want to use the farm and I specify my farm on the device and the farm of my wife on the cloud. Except that I wonder almost every operation I do.
I don't think that the solution is to use a different account for game center.
I tried to pull the game center and my wife does not change anything on my ipad.

The pop up issue is beyond a joke. For me they should have rolled back the update- it's a major bug they should have sorted before they rolled this out and to leave us all in this situation is frankly disgusting.

For me the game has become unplayable in its present state due to the ever present "choose your farm" pop-up. I chose my farm and I chose my farm and I chose my farm and I chose my farm........it doesn't stop!!!! Doesn't do this on my wife's IPad. My wife originally set hayday up on my IPad for my 5 year old granddaughter. As she progressed through the lower levels with grandma's help the game became a little much for a 5 year old and I just ended up playing because it was on my IPad. My wife and I have ONE Apple acct ( we also have on PayPal acct, one checking acct, one of a lot of things). I don' t see why we should have to create another Apple acct because of an obvious bug. I think it's been over 36 hours since the update and this is still a BIG problem. Will this be addressed? If not I will just join the ranks of others frustrated enough to stop playing or lose my farm by "choosing poorly" while playing the game.
I typically buy a chest of diamonds a month as does my husband. With this issue im so frustrated always confirming my farm I've stopped playing. Fix it, fix it now, or give us a timeline. I have 1200+ gems sitting there that I paid for.Quote:

With the most recent update to Hay Day, any time that our kids leave their farms (on separate iPads), they get a warning message to choose which farm to use. They each have their own farms on their own iPads. This message shows up every time that they go to someone else's shop, to their fishing area, to their town, etc. (pretty much all the time that they leave the main screen). It delays the game and has cost them rare shop items that always go very quickly (not to mention that it's frustrating to have the warning message come up all the time). The warning message notes that they have two farms saved on the same device, but we don't know how to remove one of those (didn't even know there were two). They do use the same iCloud but don't know if that matters.
How can we disable the warning or remove the correct farm from each device so that this doesn't come up?

Please fix this problem since the last update this game has gone to pot, all my game centre friends have vanished meaning a reduced sized roadside shop, then there is the please choose farm box that pops up constantly. I will not spend another penny on this game until it is fixed that probably doesn't seem a big deal to you guys but if more players took a stand it might.

I am having same exact issue. Same exact scenario.. My kids have a farm on a different device and now every time open my farm on my ipad or go to another stand i get prompted to select a farm.
I have deleted the iCloud back up from all devices. Signed out of game center and iCloud. And it still comes up.

my wife is playing hayday on my IPAD. I am playing it on my Iphone. Both are using ICLOUD and are connected to the same Gamecenter. It was working fine till today.
Because of Sound probs, I deinstalled and reinstalled the Hayday App. After a Software Update on my IPAD the Hayday App asks for the right Farm "each time". It appears on startup and when I go to fishing or train station, because the IPAD finds a game in Gamecenter which is different to the one in ICloud. It does not matter, if I choose one. The question comes up each time.
Does anybody know, what to do ?
It was working fine till the IOS Update and reinstalling Hayday.

in Gc shows the list... hd sees gc at launch...But no friends are shown... Just the 3 farms in blue that i "liked"

Ok SuperCell where is the help for this Choose your Farm pop up? We have all been patient, but it really seems as if you are ignoring us. We are all tired of this pop up for every little thing we try to do with our farms. It makes the game impossible to play. There are other problems as well. This update has been a bust. Please get this pop problem fixed. Just go back to the way it was before the update. Why try to change something that wasn't a problem to begin with?

As far as im concerned they should roll the whole update back. Ditch the christmas update all togther, i would rather play the old format that worked rather than this new one that doesnt - its a joke.
We are being taking for mugs in my opinion and im VERY annoyed about this.
The silence from SC is deafening. Don't know if the "fix" is just too much work or they really don't know how. Again they keep pushing the "one farm one GC acct". Wasn't an issue before the update. I found the tutorial addressing this elsewhere in the forum (the one in the DD still doesn't work in IOS). The tutorial does not address what to do if you already have 2 devices with 2 farms on the same GC acct like my wife and I (and others from what I've read in forum posts). What happens if you change your GC acct if you even can? Would you lose your farm? Would I have to rely on SC Support? I have spent money on this game and would continue to do so but with the total lack of support from SC on this matter I will probably find something else. In this day and age it's all about customer service every where you go, even in healthcare, but I see none from SC. Just an ongoing feeble push for the "one farm one GC acct" nothing else.

As you say, wasnt an issue before this update and now it is.
If they are forcing me to delete a farm they should refund me all the money paid that i have invested into that farm that i now have to delete.
I will put a request in for a full refund. I think others should do the same and then move on

No response from SC regarding legitimate customer complaints. Why even have his forum? Once again the push is for one farm one GC acct. I asked what are the risks if you try to cancel and existing GC acct and create a new one as SC is recommending? Are you going to keep ignoring the question? Obviously you are not going to deal with the issue so I am at least willing to move toward the middle. What I won't do is create another Apple acct. that's absurd.

GC/G+/FB account is not only how you connect with friends in the game, but also to save your farm. Why? Because when you get a new device, you would want to pick up your farm on that device where you left on the old one, not starting a new farm. Without your farm linked to Game Center, it is not easy to do. And one GC account can only be linked to one farm at a time, per design.
Before the update, the link GC - your farm was not permanent. Meaning when you have 2 devices with farmA and farmB but same GC, the link GC-farmA would instantly switched to GC-farmB when farmB is played and would switched back to farmA when farmA is played. I'm glad it worked for you but you may have notice the pop up "Load another farm" every now and then? There were 2 buttons:
- No, keep current farm: do nothing (keep current farm on device)
- Yes, load farm: erase current farm on device and overwrite it with farm saved on GC
It was just one-tap away to completely erase a farm currently on a device and replace it with another farm. There is no other way to recover the erased farm than to contact Support for a lost farm. There are a lots of accident happened this way. And because one GC can only be linked to one farm at a time, it would be best for each farm to have its own GC account.
After the update, something has changed, obviously. How? I'm not sure and don't have much info to say about this. However, when you play on a device with a farm that differs to the one saved to the current GC logged in, the game suggest you to choose the farm. The pop up doesn't mean to appear every time, it's a bug that Supercell is working on.
When will it be fixed? It will take all the time needed. Unfortunately as players we can't do nothing but wait. A work around to avoid seeing this: eliminate the origin of the choice, which is GC account and/or FB account. Disconnect your Apple ID from Game Center or disconnect your farm from FB. If this doesn't suit you, give them some time and yourself a break from the game. Game is meant to be fun not annoying, your farm will always be there waiting for you when you come back.
If you have other tips to help other players in your case, feel free to share in this thread.
PS: on iOS device, once your farmA is loaded on your device, only a factory reset or loading another farmB via GC (2 steps confirmation in game) could erase your farmA from the device. Changing GC account alone won't erase the farm. In case you are afraid of losing the farm, write down all relevant information just in case (farm name, xp level, neighborhood name, screenshot of farm...)
Before the update I did indeed notice the occasional pop up and had no problems making the correct choice, which by the way was the right hand choice of the two, now with the update the correct choice is the left hand option!?!? After the update it is good to know that it's now a two step confirmation.
My wife is logged into GC (we have the same GC acct) and she gets no pop up to choose a farm. I on the other hand when logged into GC the pop up is always there. I do not belong to a NH and have no need to chat so I logged out and the pop up went away as you stated. This may not be desirable for everyone but worked for me. I feel that this is a big deal for many players because it's extremely annoying and definitely slows down their play.
If it is a bug and SC is working to resolve it then that's good news, I hope they are successful. My take from reading all of the posts is that the lack of feedback and the push for one farm one GC acct gave the impression that nothing was being done. Your response was not that the issue was resolved but a very good explanation that helped me understand that I/we were not being ignored. That's all I wanted was some feedback. It would also help to share any progress being made on the issue. Thanks

I took the time to complain when there was an issue with the choose farm pop up. This pop up made it almost impossible to play the game. Thanks to the non-mandatory update, the problem has been solved without having to get another GC account or Apple ID. Thank you very much for solving the problem. I am very happy to have my farm back and running smoothly.

For android phones. Exit the game go to settings _ Accounts then go to your google account and remove it. Load the game again it will ask you for log back to your Google account then just log in and it should be fixed. Mine is working fine now :). But it might be a temporary solution.Quote:

I am having the same issue. It's not so bad that I get the pop up whenever I change to different areas of the game like the fishing area, town, etc. But every time I start up HayDay, it will ask me to choose a farm: Local or Cloud. So basically I am having to select my local farm several times throughout the day...which is ridiculous because you would think that once the player selects the farm... that selection would be saved permanently unless otherwise changed in the settings... RIGHT? That just doesn't make sense to me at all. Why does the player need to choose a farm every single time the game is opened? I am using an iPad Pro with iOS 10.3.3. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
