Im in a top5 clan and THIS NEW UPDATE will make everybody quit in the end!

Hey everybody!

Ive read so much the last days and spoken to so many people mainly the people in the top10 clans since I myself am in a top5 clan! Me and so many others in the top ranked clans have put a lot of money into the game! We're not talking 100s of dollars but a lot more!!! And even we are getting tired of what is happening to this game!

Even tho i'll happily put more money into the game to make things go faster, with this new update i have to put in new money all the time and thats when me and so many others are saying stop! I mean c'mon! Its one thing to boost production of buildings some times and some times boost something else but its getting redicolous!

And dont give me the bull♥♥♥♥ talk that I can be patient, or that I should play in a different way and so on! I know how to play this game and I know it damn well! Ive been playing since this game started up! But I can also imagine the feeling people have that cant put loads of money in it because now the game is ONLY about money! And if u dont have money u might as fell can quit right now, because you wont be able to play for very long!

Ive lost at least 250 trophies since the winter update and this NEVER happend before! The matchmaking system matches me up with totally wrong oponents and even tho I am a level 75 I am more then often matched with levels 90 and higher! Of course these guys will win when they attack and take all my resources and trophys! And if I attack them, ill loose 9/10 times because they are in a higher level with better stuff! Do you guys think that is fair!?!?

You are sucking the fun out of this game! And also that before you could at least win som resources to cover up what you spent on troops and to find a game! At least some of the fights! That happends 1/10 fights now if even that! How are people going to make that work if they spend waaaaay more then they win! It just doesnt add up guys!

You guys come with new updates to make people pay more cash! And with upgrades come new things to make people buy even more and you make things be worse! Its one thing to make more things to buy but make it resonable!

I can tell u from my heart, i like this game a lot! But I have the half clan Im in thinking of quitting playing! And ive spoken to a lot of top players who has the same thoughts! Is this what you wanted!?

Guys should be able to play and get resources and so on even tho they dont pay up! Of course this will take longer then buying gems, OF COURSE but like you've done now u made it impossible! Lets say a normal guy can play maximum 3-4 times per day then they have to wait for a lifetime to get resources to go out and fight and make troops!

Like I said... you are sucking the fun out of the game by beeing greedy and I just think it is a shame! Take this from a clan member of a top clan with experience of the game and by a long time money-payer!

Please make an update and make some good changes! Some realistic good changes that works for any kind of player!

Champ, I can understand how you feel.
You paid for a product, it changed and now your money doesn't seem to be worth what you expected.

your frustration here is totally understandable.

My solution when it happened to me was to direct my unsatisfaction toward itunes support. PM me if you want info, i am sure you will find the thread somewhere on the forums tho.

Another solution to keep enjoying the game was to not let the trophies dictate how i should play it. There are many more achievable goals out there.

May you find fun again in this game.

What does it have to do with the thread ?
PM him and ask him the question, or take a look at top players bases, you ll have composition of army and you ll see elixir storage with holding capacities of 6 001 000.

Clearly you are missing his point VilfanG and are most likely playing nowhere near his level.

a) What does it matter what his elixer level is? Without boosting you earn 108k with full lvl 11 collectors in a 6 hr period. So basically this adds almost nothing to helping you out with b.

b) The cost of armies needed to raid the highest level players is extremely high if you want to have a chance of winning. Meaning you need to generate large amounts of elixer for winning - guessing 125k ++ each raid on average.

What the OP is saying is that it is almost impossible to raid and get anywhere near this amount of elixer... ever as a player in the top thousands of rankings. There are almost no resources available and in order for them to actually play the game, they MUST buy the large amounts of elixer to simply make armies in order to possibly compete. This is a huge problem, and something that really needs to be fixed somehow.

I have most of my elixirs on 10 and 11.... but this is not the point! Im spending way more in making troops and finding a game then what Im winning! Like I said... im not a stupid person I know I cant win good everytime! I GET THAT! But at least some time... but after the update its very rare to win back not even a small percent of what I spent to find a game and making the troop! And in my head that really doesnt add up! Its just really unfair...

And its impossible that I am the onlyone here to think that!

And like I said... the matchmaking system! It matches everything all wrong! Stick to maybe a range of 5 levels up and down! That could be good! But I had for example a guy with level 105 attacking me yesterday! Lost 20 trophys and quite some resources! And of course he is gonna win! He has things way better then mine! How is it possible then that a level 110 is attacking with a level 76... come on!!!

Ill give you just a little taste of how it's up in the high levels

1. Buy Gems
2. Buy 3mil in elixir
3. Buy 600k in gold

Then buy 6 pekkas, 10 wall breakers and 15 wizards with 1 Santa spell and 3 rage spells (with everything all maxed out of course).

Obviously you'll have to fast build everything and you'll be sitting there for at least 5 hrs just attacking until your elixir finishes.

It's super easy to win at least 1 star, if your a medium player you'll get 2 and if your a pro you'll get 3.

Before deploying your troops you just Santa spell your opponents clan castle and it's totally wiped out so that's a 1 Star win since your archers aren't there anymore to defend your village and when I say they were vital to fight off the attack trust me because about 30% of your defensive win was due to them.

Then you just launch the pekka that's in your clan castle (so you really have 7 pekkas) at the wall to attract the defensive fire, launch your wall breakers and the reats of your pekkas and wizards with 3 rage spells. That's it, you won!!

Before the update you had to waste giants to tease the defensive buildings, now you just walk in.

But remember, you must have a maxed out defense to take a 1 star lost and a maxed out base and troops to literally flathen your opponents base.

By then end of the day you'll end up with 200 cups that you'll loose in a few days of playing defense, so you start all over again, fun no?

PS. There is no defensive layout that will hold, even if it's maxed out!!

I see ... I get it now ... and yes, I am not playing not even close to his lvl.
If I got things right in his lvl, armies cost few thousands of elixir, and all players his lvl use it all all the times for their own armies. Then of course, there in top leauge there is completely no elixir - unless u gem it ...

I haven't played at the top levels Jesse, but that's exactly what I figured was going on lol..... That's pretty sad to be honest, and really makes me not want to get up there and have to experience that. But that of course is kinda the whole point of the game, to get up to those levels so u end up having to do that to compete up there.

Basically your right, I will not spend anymore in gem buying so basically the game will soon end for me.
It's really a sad thing after so much time and dedication, the only thing holding be back from quitting altogether is the money investment.

It has become a rich man's game up there. Its hard to compete with deep pocketed people and suddenly an update that gives all out advantage to the biggest spender as if the previous money spent were nothing when someone pass you like a breeze and lose the money earned trophy. Sorry guys...

I knew the answer to the question before it was asked ... But i feel some people need a reality check..they are so obsessed with Trophies and have spent little or/no money at all. They dont seem to appreciate that there is a community within the game that battle harder than they can imagine.

I play 4/5 hours most days and could only see me ever sitting around 2500 if i focused on it... but i will never use GEMS to boost my troops

That has been my play style too !
I've been up, 94th ranked, but in those days you did not need to gem armies up like today.
I now simply keep an eye on the game, go for achievments, upgrading thru farmer'S road.

It is fun again :)

Thanks bro.. ill do that in a week or so cuz right now im actually just taking a break from all this in hope that supercell makes a fast update or else im really thinking of quitting! Im just fed up with they treating us so bad after all the cash we put down!!! I might loose some trophys but u know how it is! Ill get that fast as hell if they make a change! I know that when cash is talking! But anyhow... for me to continue this game they have to make an honest update!

Or else this game just became a big joke and a big waste of my time with no future at all! And that would be a great shame for all of us!

Gus4Prez... Thats exactly the point that i have been trying to make all day... I got to 2200 and it became "boring" becuse i refused to gem up.. Dropped and im now accussed of "raping" Low levels..

I cant win i realise that.. and i dont care... What im doing is fun... (or would be if not for the freaking lag)

Even when skipping for 50k worth of gold, I cannot find any opponent with more than 25k resources. Since my army costs 57k juice per raid, the new match making is offering me loss making deals ONLY.

The popular advice is to drop trophies: as a leader of a clan, what impression do I make if I tell everyone to just drop trophies?? It is ridiculous and unnecessary!

Hey Pedro lee could I join ur clan? I'm a farmer aswell and I'm active.

The whole trophy system is inflated right now obviously due to people going gem crazy, as those people either stop busting gems or quit or whatever which seems to be the case, the game will normalize. People at the top, it hurts to slide down the leader boards but it ain't that bad, I wouldn't quit if you put that much money in...

Bro... I feel your words and im so sad to hear them cuz I feel the same! Ive spent thousands of dollars on this game and now supercell just made it worse! Why? How can they be that greedy!? Like I said before ill happily put some money from time to time but only if I could gain some aswell! This right now is just crazy!

Im gonna quit aswell if they arent changing this very soon! And I mean very soon cuz like you said im not gonna waste one daim on gems anymore if they dont change this up BIGTIME! U feel me bro? We can mass suggest to bring single player loot back. :) though it will decrease the multiplayer fights but at the very least, multiplayer will be mainly for trophy count not stealing resources part.

Oh and just a point on the matchmaking thing, right after an update more people log on and check out the new stuff, once they stop logging on so much or have a seizure from the constant snowfall, it prob will be better

Pedro, although I appreciate the idea, it would mean u need unlimited reply of levels in single and indeed win the resources again. Because unless you will to spend thousands of real money on gems, you would not be able to do anything at all..

Example: I'm in the process of spending 40mln gold on upgrading my walls to blue-ish-purple. I will need to or I'll keep losing every single defense. So where before I can have fun in going through multiplayer and win-some-lose-some trophies, I simply can't do that anymore? For me the game just went sour, and I've already lost several members now that simply do not want to play anymore.....

This is REALLY sad.....

Yes i meant the unlimited supply where you login logout and the pots refilled. To be honest, you can grind walls, but up the trophy, you can't grind resources anymore unless you drop a little trophy. The elixir depletion is inevitable. So if ever the single player loot comes back, we all can progress further. And of course gemmers will always be ahead because they have advantage on the production of troops. But at least it doesn't feel that resources is a pain on every player.

Agreed that they should either add new levels that unlock as you level up, or reinstitute the farming thing... Unfortunately I don't think any amount of begging them to do this will help because people have been asking for this for months

Why so much trouble? Dropping the prices for all troops training would please the whole world.

I feel u... all I know that played... top players in top 10 clans are quitting! If they dont make a big change very soon this game will hit rock bottom! BELIEVE IT!!! Because everybody is quitting right now as we speak!!!

Pedro, not "stealing" resources is fine for gemmers like you that have 3 accounts and all the time in time in the world to post shirtless photos and ♥♥♥♥ in this forum. The majority of the millions playing this game build resources through attacks by finding profitable clans and winning. The new update has decreased the available loot in attacks at competitive level clans making it no longer profitable to attack. The two options now are to sit around and try to naturally build through resource production buts that hard when you get attacked 2 times a day or decrease trophies so the cost to attack is less.

first of all they must get rid of that Santa spell
they should raise the building damage hit points
they should lower the pekkas and dragons damage hit points
they should raise the walls damage hit points
they should make the bombs and traps work on the pekkas and add more especially for them
raise the defensive buildings attack points and redo the teslas from scratch because for what they cost they're weak and clumsy

Just a few tweaks here and there.

Or

They should cut down the attack time by a minute if the attackers uses like 9 pekkas and 4 spells or somewhat limit them in someway, maybe with a penalty

Right now this game is more beneficial to low lvl players like me (lvl40) the matchmaking is a lot better for us, but I do feel where the high lvls complaints are coming from.. it is very frustrating to spend more than you gain..

..but for now I guess ill stick around and see what else this game have to offer as I progress into the higher lvl.

Pedro I been readin these forums for a while now and your advice has been the best.Gotta say you are a legend and I would have threw this game into the bin if not for your farming guides.To all you guys at the top your being stiffed just like the guys in the middle on the update before Halloween one,and I gotta say what comes around goes around.A lot of you high lvl players dropped to farm lvl 8 town halls.I have dropped my trophies because there worthless to me.I am nice an low and farming farmers it's great.So if you want some fun come down we're the black market is and enjoy yourself.

Ps to all you suckers who drop a troop on me just remember your in my list and I'm gonna get you regardless of your lvl.

Yes, when u can't even find the resources to keep battling tis pathetic. Everyone is farming. Everyone is Forced to farm. It is major chaos down here (1300-1700 T) and now we know its not much easier up there. Thanks for sharing. I'm tired of hearing the only solution is farming or being patient. Tons of people just want battle, and not drop ridiculous amounts of Ts to do so.

by reading this thread and every comment init I feel like giving up...... I thoght it would be so easy to get my trothies over 2500 when I finished farming and then I could go back to Bonbee canada2 and perhaps be promoted to bc1 but now it seems just reading this thread has just sucked the fun right out of this game...I am only 13 years old and I can't spend that much money on gems so it's basically over for me right? I probably get back into Bonbee canada2 then struggle there on after I won't ever be able to get over 2500 trothies and be into Bonbee Canada like I have always wished and hoped for. When I always thoght I was making progress (yes I even got a visit to Bonbee Canada for a few hours becuase of my hard work) I never realised how hard this game really is.... Supercell is it meant to be like this? It's kind of depressing knowing the more I level up the less I'll be able to play the game because I will not buy any more gems.

Basically, farming is a never-ending situation... Because with the build times being what they are, you aren't able to actually make much progress before the next update is put out... Have been telling people that for awhile...

So a bunch of losers sunk huge amounts of money to play at a level the game was never intended to be played at and now they all whine.

I have that problem too!
Every time i search for someone to attack i sit and search for about 10 min. The opponents are Way too big for me.
And then when i'm going back on to the game i've lost 20 troophies becalse some guy with 15 lvls more Than me have attacked My village and looted the hell out of me!
And this happens all the time!
I bought gems too before and had no plans on stopping but now i'm starting wonder if it's worth it!
I started playing this game just becalse i left another game wich sucked up money, the company got more and more greedy and i can admit that i payed about 1000 $ for that game under the years.
Now it is a pay 2 win game and i don't think that it Will last even 2 years.
But i really hope that the same will not happen to this game, and i will not buy any gems until i see changes!
So wake up if you don't want to loose costumers supercell!

I should fight my own trophy level or TH level? The two aren't tied together which why there is a huge variation in the matchmaking. Anyone says they only fight "hard" or "fair" opponents is full of ♥♥♥♥. We all battle against opponents we think we can beat. Because the game is only matching on trophies it can be manipulated, that is why it should also be tied to TH, camps and barracks. The bigger problem is all these "fair" opponents don't have enough resources to cover the costs to attack.

I am so happy to see all you guys that spent all that money be so upset because you should be. You should feel like geniuses for spending so much money on something so meaningless. My 6 year old son loves this game and we have spent 200$ total and are still sitting on 10,000 gems that we spend WISELY. We have tons of fun playing and watching TH8 and 9 loose to us becaue they upgraded TH too fast. I guess things being fair would be bad for you since you are like the many that just raid easy towns. Stop crying about spending money like 2 years old because the game is fun when actually played right.

I am not sure the most recent change was intended to have quite this effect. Supercell received a LOT of complaints about high trophy people picking on those 1000 or more lower than them. They responded with this fix, now the high trophy players that were doing it are complaining they have no one they can attack and win.
Seems like a no-win situation for Supercell, either way a bunch of people are unhappy about it.

All I can say is Amen. I have been playing for awhile and just got to TH6 and have not spent a dime. I play a few minutes here and there. If you are playing 4 hours or more everyday and spending hard earned money on a game to escape to a different reality, you need to get some real friends and people in your life, but to each his own. I can see the addiction of games like this, but hasn't got me.

Not sure what you didn't understand...he said it himself he is being matched up with level 90s that he cant beat...but he spent so much money buying his way to high trophy levels yet he is complaning because he doesnt want to fight at the high level, he wants to farm little guys .....guess what if you are going to buy your way to the top youre going to have to fight with the top players, and thats how it should be. Exactly Cigg...I get attacked by his level which is level 75 and thats ok because he needs resources....but he gets attacked by a level105 and because he spent tons of money and cant beat him he has an issue with the game updates and developers???

What good will that do, those whose paid got what they paid for all the bells & whistles in their village....upgrades thats what they paid for, they didn't pay for the structure of the game ....their upgrades are still there nobody took them away....And the fact they don't use them well or they aren't winning in the game after paying so much for them isn't anyones fault but their own!

Basically, the games economy comes from 2 sources, pumps and single player. For some, single player is completed, so no new resources can enter the game economy. Now, since clashers spend more resources than they earn through pumps, they can either loot or buy resources with gems. As people have cut down on their spending, many have resorted to looting (farming). There are two solutions to this problem and both of them are forms of stimulus. 1st- a free permanent boost to pumps, so we can earn more resources. In the first place this game should not be a money spending contest. I know it sounds contradictory to the people making money from this but on the long run everyone would be happier if a game like this
-focuses on strategic capibilities and not money spending
-comes to an end so you move on to something else
-limits the total amount of money you can spent on the game
(age of empire comes to mind)
I do not know if the makers of the game are waiting to own an island on the bahamas before the ♥♥♥♥ hits the fan, but it will hit the fan. People will get into financial problems because of their addiction and you will be blamed.

Will there come a time all these big spenders realize they have been spending way too much to the point of not spending anymore? Will that time ever come? If ever, how will it affect the game?

I worry more about crackheads, alcoholics who choose to drive after one too many, and exposure to secondhand-smoke more than I do about some addicted gamer who bought one too many gems.

The bottom line is monetizing the gamer into income. Money. Yes, money. When you go to work would you rather be paid in chicken wings or money?

Yeah, I had that moment of clarity (same term alcoholics use I know) a few weeks ago.

This update with the added cannon and other perks has got my eye twitching again. I fear I may fall off the wagon and go on a gem-buying binge.
