nah. maybe you lack the skills, did not fully study your opponents,
there are things you need to know about clan wars..
1. Rushing your th is not recommended. having a rushed town hall will make you weak offensively and defensively, it seems that the rating is computed first by the no. of defensive buildings + walls, then its level.
i have seen th9 and th10 ranked higher because they have more defensive buildings even at low level..
2. if your a new th, focus on offenses first than defenses since it will still give you an advantage during clan war matching.
3. every base has a weakness.. especially in th8-9 levels. it is your job to know which bases are hoggable, loonions, gowipe easily.
4. never ever let some weak player join the war. (for example if your clan is composed of 10 th9, 15 th8, 3 th7), letting th6 below join your war will mean easy 3 star for the opponent.
5. war is not for loot. it is just for glory..
Will you complain if you win the war?
Then your opponent will start posting exactly the same thing as you in this forum and it will be never-ending threads like this.
I hope i don't sound offending which i am definitely, but i hope you get my point here.
Stay happy...:o
To all those who think that wanting war loot is "selfish," you need to reconsider. You can put up the stars and also get the loot if you are efficient. Also, matchmaking is JUST FINE. Supercell, please do not cave in to poor attackers who blame your matching system. No match will be perfect, so live with it. We get our share of what you would call "mismatches," but we still win almost all of them. If you aren't winning it isn't a mismatch, it is poor attack/defense. No offense, but please don't blame the system for your own failures.
I noticed that clan wars got a lot harder when our top players started reaching Town Hall level 6.
I put it down to moving out of the beginners and being matched with clans with experience.
Well, part of that is true, but not all.
We battled about 30 wars and won 27. So we know what we are doing, but some are better, yes.
Lately we lost 6 out of 8 wars. Just like that!
Mostly because of dragon opponents.
Matchmaking is different from before and dragons are way overpowered in the TH7 and 8 divisions...
Yes, it's just as boring for an attacker to be able to 3-star everyone effortlessly. On the bright side you don't lose loot, but it's a bore.
These things are very, very true. But on the other hand, many clans, myself included, aren't war-centered. War is used more as a break from farming and for fun. A good few people in my clan are friends and family, and some didn't start right, and some started recently. Much as I'd like to ask the lower and/or rushed members to leave the clan until they get stronger, I can't exactly blame their family and friends for wanting them to stay, and wouldn't be surprised if they left along with the weaker members. I think there should be more of a balance or an opt-out system; while we aren't the most prepared for war it shouldn't equate to getting matched against drastically better opponents; those that're weaker should be allowed to step out of war so that they can still be with those they care about while not being a detriment to the rest of the clan's success.
Well even in the real world, when you prioritize or choose because it is your family, or it is a friend of. you always messed up. example when someone you know apply for a job.
though i am in a warring + pushing clan. it is really a pain when your heroes are upgrading.. though we still pull of a win. but in my opinion wars are just one side of the game, you are to choose if you want to war or not..
