Steebs Quest

Hey ALL!


So I'm staring a centralized thread where I'll be collecting my works, ideas and stuffs. As per a previous suggestion. (Thank you Defiant.... Yeah, I kinda wish I woulda done it all along, so thanks for the suggestion.)


What else? Well its entitled "Steebs Quest" so it's got a secondary purpose to it as well. It's also my journey to hopefully gain Supercell's attention and with all the luck in the world, employment at undoubtably the most amazing gaming company on the planet!! (Flailing my arms and jumping up and down just isn’t working out in my favor like I thought it would. heh. who woulda guessed?)


This is a pretty bold move for me to be quite honest with everyone. I’m not really one to put myself out there like this and while I do consider myself outgoing I’m also quite humble and a bit reserved in some of these regards. But hey, sometimes you gotta stand up and fight for what you believe in and want? AmIright er AmIright?


So I hope you enjoy my works, the thread and are supportive of the cause and will want to join me on this pretty big journey. I'd also like to ask, if you can, Please spread the word! (I most certainly could use all the support and help I can get. :)) And all suggestions and comments you can offer are very very welcome and most definitely appreciated.

I'm extremely excited and inspired to keep on knocking out the best illustrations and designs I can and I am most definitely workin on a new character design now even... may take a few days tho… life and stuffs! thththt. haha

I also hope to get a couple of color variants for the Clan Slayer up! Until then, I'm placing the clean render centralized here as well for anyone.

New Dark Troop Concept... Pretty straight forward cloaked guy. But I still think he still looks fun... and is a two parter!

Was also thinking maybe adding hanging locks and chains to him. but I dunno. The smoothing on the shading kinda disintegrated a bit while playing with some color changes, So, I’ll have to redo it a lil bit.

Oh and I also have an idea for what IS in the box… BUT…. it’s up in the air. ;) hahaha... What do you think should be in the box? What Does SuperCell think should be in the box? haha :)

Woah, another very awesome piece! KIU. I think you should try a tech CoC character next :)

Not sure if you already do this, but you should start recording yourself drawing these and upload them to YpuTube as a speedart. Your work is amazing, wish I could do this haha. good Job!

Heh... Not sure about doing any video recording... I'm all over the place when i doodle in Photoshop. not out of the question at all, but I don't know if it would be very entertaining? Haha.

Many people would love to watch speed arts of your drawings. I used to watch stuff like that and still do enjoy watching them.

Soooo... here's the progress.... It's A LOT darker looking than what I intended. So that may be changing.

Hey All!

I had TONS of fun just putting this composition together… Who doesn't love an epic battle!?! :) Would be even more Epic to do this with the actual 3-D models and pose them all!! :)


Buuuut, I hope you all don’t mind seeing just the sketch for it… I was gonna keep this a secret until it was finished. and just flash, bang! here it is! However truth be told it’s breaking my computer and I have barely begun to color it!!! hahaha. So I’m gonna have to get “creative” if I go through and finish painting this one. Probably end up doing photoshop layers in different files and reimporting it back into this file or something. My poor computer is hating me to the fullest at this point! hahaha :)


Anywho’s, like always, I truly hope you like it so far and also if you can, let me know which Golem head you like more. The more traditional or the hybrid/concept head? I'm thinking more traditional... but I like the expressiveness of the hybrid one? torn on which one I'll be going with.

I still use pencil a lot, I just absolutely love the tactile feeling paper gives me... But once I have a sketch down... It's photoshop, Flash, Illustrator. But primarily Photoshop. (Additional applications that are great tho are Artrage and on an iPad, Procreate all the way.)

Just a doodle. It's not attached to anything or for anything, decided to just get in photoshop and squiggle away, this is what came about. lol. Not certain what Clash project to do next. or if to finish the epic battle or not. hrmm?

Long time no post-y post-y! haha! So I'm still cranking out fun loving illustrations only no word from Supercell. Yep, sadly silence is pretty telling. But, I shall forge on in my quest anyways. Coz thats what crazy does.


To celebrate crazy, Here's The Hunter! hahaha.


I was loving the sketch of this guy a Lot. Conceptually a crazy looking rugged mountain man that wears a minion on his head like some sort of Davey Crockett! And at each level he's upgraded, he “collects” and adds a piece from each of the already created Dark Elixer Troops. Kinda a neat concept as far as that goes, yes, no?


As for his actual abilities, well he's a Hunter. He hunts. Coz well, Thats what hunters do. Hahaha.


If proper visual development would have allowed, I would have streamlined how many crazy hair strands/dreads he has. Also of fun note... Take a look at the shape of his beard, look familiar? Cough... Shaped like a shield. One more fun fact... My inspiration was actually Rob Zombie. Haha. :p


Anywho's, I DO hope you like him. And always, a very special thank you's for taking a look see throughout my endeavor and all of your support!

Thanks man. I kno that there are sites devoted to mashups of all the clash characters, but for fun i wanted to create a character that would utilize parts as if collecting them as he is upgraded. Starting with the minion hat. Just thought it would be kinda cool.

So I was kinda hesitant to show this guy, He started off being an Ice Viking of sorts, then I didn't like him so I put him away. Then just opened him back up and smoothed some rough edges... I still think he's kinda lost a bit, So I guess you could say he's "The Lost Viking" hahaha. :)

Anywho's, I hope you kinda dig him and if you have any suggestions to make him better, let me know.

This would make a good GFX shop. Those often get Supercells attention...judging by the art...wouldn't be hard for you.

I think out of all the ones I've done... I think the clan slayer would probably fit in the world best. The Viking just seems half baked of a design to me.

Hope everyones been having a great holidays!!!


I’m still working on the character that I started before the holidays but I just wanted to share a few sketches I’ve done in the meantime. You wouldn’t believe how many sketches I have over here.. It’s a pretty big stack! lol But these are just a select few that I felt have some sort of marketing value to em. Provided that they would be finished of course, but I still wanted to share the sketches. One sketch that I know I want to add to these that I don’t yet have is a sketch for Go-WeWe ..with the text "GoWeWe for the Win”

Anyone have additional marketing type ideas to add?

Anywho… Hope you like or don't mind seeing just some raw sketches!
