Detailed Guide - How To Mass Barb TH10s for 2*s - NO HEROS - Huge loot opportunity
So I have had some flames posted on my mass barb raids since I have level 40 heroes, so I wanted to share this video and a written tutorial on how you can consistently farm and push in Master or Champ with my mass barb troop comp.
THE COMP:
160 barbarians
36 archers
4 wallbreakers
4 wizards
4 hogs
3 heal spell
1 rage spell
1 jump spell
Costing just over 200k with all 5 spells, the league bonus makes it very easy to make for an extremely profitable raid. I queue up a wiz, a wb, 9 archers, and 40 barbs in each barracks and two hogs in each dark barracks. Very fast to build!
THE METHOD:
1 - Scout first
You want to scout the base and look for a path to the core that has minimal chance of running into a giant bomb. Look for a place where you can enter into a compartment and then jump two walls into the core. Very few bases, especially high level bases, will not give you an option here. You need to scout where you will be entering the base and where you will be jumping to. Ideally, you want to enter at a wizard tower.
2 - Lure and kill
This is the only reason for the hogs and wizards. Use the 4 hogs to lure, and with any luck remove one wizard tower or mortar. It can't hurt to drop a few barbs before the hogs to take some shots and make sure you get the whole lure. Use single barbs or archers to pull the cc troops to where you will be attacking, bunch them together with back and forth barbs, then send in a few barbs and a few wizards.
3 - Clear the entryway
This is critical for success, so make sure you clear enough. Ideally, you want to clear 3 or 4 buildings on each side of the entrance so that there is no doubt troops will go inside. While clearing distracts defenses, use your wbs to blow a hole in the base. Don't be afraid to use some barbs clearing... as long as you have 100 left for the attack you will be fine. I like to save about 16 archers, some barbs and 10 archers to clear each side.
4 - Deploy the horde
This is where the hard work of the first 3 steps pays off. Now that you have a clear path, do a 3 finger drop of about 15 barbs. If using heroes, deploy them as well. Immediately drop your first heal so it covers troops entering the wizard tower's range. Then go right back to barbarians and three finger drop the rest of the pack. If you didn't need any to clear, feel free to save some. Just make sure at least 100 go in. You can also toss in any remaining wizards if you have them.
5 - Manage the raid
The first pocket should be cleared by the time you have deployed everything, so now is raid management time. Use your jump to get your horde out of the initial pocket and into the core. You have 1 heal that can be wasted if need be and they are getting hit by mortars clearing the pocket that leads to the core. Once in the core, drop your final heal and rage to cover as much of the core as possible. You will be amazed at how fast the pack of barbs melts absolutely everything in the core. Under a rage, no building lasts more than a second.
6 - Cleanup
Your remaining troops can be used to clear outside buildings to get you the 50%. You can also use your clan castle for this. Just be smart about it, and you should be able to get the 2* with ease.
