So if I go to our feeder clan to say hi to a couple friends, and fill a few CCs while I'm over there, I lose the 5 level 5 wizards in my own CC for doing so? No thanks.
Yes you would lose them for leaving the clan you got them from. Do battle before going to visit your friend, and you lose nothing.
Its hardly just me as an individual, there are lots of people who move around from clan to clan to help with recruiting, donating, and just to say hi to people. I get wizards for defensive purposes, and its a big favor to ask of a clan member to tie up barracks for that long, I'm not going to waste them on an attack.
Also, if you're saying that raiding before I leave the clan is the best way for me to deal with it, how is this actually going to stop clan hopping among the people you're trying to target? If its the work-around for me, wouldn't clan hoppers just do the exact same thing and raid before they leave?
I honestly think we should just ignore clan hopping. So what if you donated a dragon, PEKKA, or whatever. It's your fault for getting fooled into giving him good stuff. It's not a big deal.
I addressed this earlier in the thread and offered more than one solution for you. But one idea will never fit everyone. Also, I am quite certain there are more clan hoppers and people with clan hopper problems than feeder clans and those that jump from one to the other for the purpose of good.
No offense, but thats pretty easy to say for a bonabee clan. I imagine your member retention is quite high. For the MANY clans trying to recruit, treat new recruits well and show good donating habits, we are being taken advantage of. It is a problem and quite annoying problem at that. Ignoring it just isn't a deterrence or solution.
