Should I upgrade to Town Hall 9?

So, I need a little input on whether I should upgrade to TH9 or wait a while. I raid a lot, about 2-3 million gold and elixir each per day, so keep that in mind when you give me your recommendation.

A list of my buildings and their levels -

Walls - 150 Level 7 and 75 at Level 8
Archer Towers - Level 10
Cannons - Level 10
Air Defenses - Level 6
Mortars - Level 6
Wizard Towers - Level 6
Teslas - Level 4
Barbarian King - Level 7
Barracks - Level 9 and 1 at Level 10
Dark Barracks - Level 4 and Level 2

All storages and troops are maxed, except for spells, which are all at level 4.

For the Teslas, Ive been putting them off till the end due to the long upgrade time, but would it be better if i leave it for TH9 since it will be a cheap upgrade for when I can not raid as much and am short on gold? The Barracks are not important for me since I rarely ever use Pekkas at all. Barbarian King will be easier to upgrade once I max the two dark elixir drills at TH9.

I recommend doing your teslas. Having maxed teslas and going to 9 was my biggest asset. They take forever to upgrade, so in that time you can do a lot of walls. I ended up completely maxing my th8 (except valks) before upgrading, and if you're worried about cheap upgrades don't be, with all the new buildings you get at th9 there won't be a shortage of cheap buildings. Plus, mortars and cannons are the cheapest item at 9 and are easy to farm for when you're short on gold.

Go to th9 if you are ready.

You want more walls at lvl 8 (I'd do at least half), and should get your barb king to 10. You want at least two barracks at lvl 10 but it's not too important right now (even if you don't use pekkas you will eventually, and besides more space to queue up). You should upgrade teslas, they're a HUGE help.

No, I'd do walls and work on king a bit more, as well as teslas.

Two drills still isn't enough, and you are going to want to focus DE on the Queen anyway. Better to max the King now as you can then shove him on the back burner for a bit and worry about other things.

Keep in mind lvl 8-10 walls are already over a bil at TH9, on top of everything else. Personally I wouldn't want to be playing catchup having to worry about upgrading lvl 7 walls as well. Better to max skulls now if you ever have any intention of getting max walls.

Telsas are also your highest single target defense structure maxed atTH8, and huge for core defense in war. I'd be getting those up asap.

Might as well max your rage and heal too (at the very least, rage).

Loot is easy to come by at lower TH's.

I'd optimize on that and max what you can now.

I would highly advise you do not upgrade until your defenses are maxed (or will be maxed at the end of your TH upgrade). Additionally, I would also advise that more than half your walls should be lvl 8. It will only be easier later. Remember, although it sucks to get beat up by TH9s right now...TH10s have 50% loot penalty attacking you...if you upgrade too soon, you will be wrecked more frequently especially by TH10s while you try to catch up.

Looks like you are almost there...just hang in there.

I maxed everything except Golems, Valks, Hogs and Pekkas at 8, and I don't regret it at all. My only regret was not maxing BK, hes at 7 now. Teslas should be a high priority and I would encourage you to max walls. Go to silver 1 or gold 3 and go to town, not too many th9's there and its ridiculous how much loot is there.

So.. I listened to most of y'all and spent the 6 million I had in gold on teslas. Let's give TH8 another couple of weeks. The confusion was eating me up from inside and I had to remind myself over and over that ITS JUST A GAME! Anyway, will bring teslas to Level 5 and then go for TH9, while Teslas upgrade to level 6.
