Sometimes you might confuse nearly full elixer collectors with fully max'd ones. They're plumpy full when their full. You can't gauge how full a gold mine is. DE drills will fill more quickly so they aren't the best indicator.

Plus no things from recent update. For eg any base with fourth mortar is abandoned (above TH8)Quote:

Sometimes you will see collectors and pumps with a little bit in them, storages that are slightly full. These bases I always got upset raiding after I hit the collecters and only get 60-90 k gold and elixer. These bases have a good enough tendency to have a lot of traps set and cc troops. I do hit them when loot is dry as can be, but when loot is decent just be careful as barching isn't too great on them. Heavier attacks are ok still.
