Question for players with a TH 10 base.

Hi th 10 owners, just a simple question. is the loot really that bad? can you answer these few questions?

1.) how often do you find an inactive base? and how much is usually is the total available from the collectors like 200k+ each or 150k+ each.

2.) how many hours do you play whenever you open coc?

3.) for people who just upgraded to th10, with the aledged loot issue going on. was it worth upgrding to th10?

please don't use this as a loot issue thread and don't flame any one. I'm making a survey for myself, every answer helps. Thank you!

I'm not taking the time to answer all of your questions because I'm lazy as hell...

Just know, it's bad. I've had a TH10 for over a year and rushing to it was the worst decision I've ever made. All of my friends who had not progressed as far as me, and I was able to warn about rushing to it, have practically been able to catch up to me (with better walls) because the loot percentage penalty that I am given while raiding.

Max as much as possible with the upgrades that are available at your current TH level before progressing. You'll be happy you did.

1) Maybe 3 out of 5 attacks. Usually its 150k+ each and 1/3 attacks its 300k each.

2) 6-10 hours farming a day.

3) Totally worth it! Upgraded 2.5 weeks ago and having so much fun.

Ive been TH10 for a fair while, loots been pretty poor for me so i farmed off the loot bonus in master 2, although a friend in my clan has recently hit TH10 also and hes finding great loot in C2, so ive dropped down there and im getting a few 200k+ collector raids.. Loots looking pretty decent if you know where to look

Been th10 for a long time and have never really had a problem with loot, there is plenty out there if you know what you're doing!

I did need to adapt my farming style compared to th9 and lower though as I found the lower leagues pretty barren when i first became a th10 moving into master lges solved this though

no problems, im farming in crystal 2, find good colelctor raids or easy strorages within 15-50nexts, I play with a 2 hr boost on my commutes

Thanks for posting your inputs. the way I see it, it's not that bad after all. I'm not a hardcore gamer that needs loots everyday. i'm just a casual gamer who can save enough resources to make an upgrade for my base whenever I have a vacant builder and to prove that I only have 4 builders. I have the time and money to get a 5th one, but like I said Im just a casual gamer and I'm just enjoying the game.

I have a decent th9 base currently with skull walls but my main goal in getting my TH to 10 are the troops level, inferno towers and the xbow.

I don't mind having a hard time lookim for loots in th10. All I really want to know if people can still get some somehow.

I can agree with your friend because even if Im at th9 I can still find inactive bases like 5 times in a 3 hr session and i don't boost my raks, i just let my tab stay with coc opened. so yeah, if he can still find some then that's one of the answers im looking for.

IMO, There are three angles to TH10. Completely depends on what you expect as th10

- Surviving as TH10
This is not a problem. With those two infernos you can protect your resources much better than a Max TH9(defenses)

- Farming for Upgrades
Farming for TH10 defenses is also not tough.
Because the upgrades take so long, its not tough to max storage's. you need only average 1 mil 'per day' to start an upgrade. Few days are dry and few are fruitful, still quite possible.

- Enjoying TH10 as a farmer
This is where the game goes for a toss.
Its frustrating when you hear fellow th9s showing 300k from a TH8, or talking about 1.5 mil an hr loot.
Loot per hour concept is just a imagination for TH10.
Having to war with only one hero and you are matched up with a strong opponent. Meh ... (thumbs Down)
Most of the days you next so much that the device starts feeling heavy to play.
Many ppl in-game i know are people who loved playing (mainly farming) until th9. And th10 takes that away. You play it as a choir, because you don't want to abandon efforts after playing for 18 months.

Then you're much like myself, a casual gamer. Thing is, even for casual gamers loot isn't really that bad. I do 10-20 barch a day, usually in a group of 5 raid per session and about 1 hour a session. That means like, playing 2-3 hours per day. As long as you don't put your goal too high like doing level 11 walls and upgrading defenses all at once, you can still keep the ball rolling.

The number of inactives really varied, and you can get from 100 k to as much as 375 k per base. But beginning from crystal 2, farming for league bonus might help thus you won't be dependent to abandoned bases.

Well i have been on th10 almost 3month. I was max th9 with lvl 9 walls n 50 lvl 10.

Yes the loot is bad n to upg ur defence u most put alot of time looting. I use ballonion for farming cuz collectors i find 1/5 attacks. 100-150 coin n elexir its so bad its below coin (cuz u can upg walls with elexir).

I had 900 gem wen i got to th10. First weeks i boosted n played 2hrs a day. So far i have my infernos maxed n the new the defence (for th10) upg to same lvl as the others (cannon,archtower n more).

Now no gems n soon 3 builders free (first time since i begun playing coc)with 500k coin n elexir.

Trophy range 1900-2100. Now with the infernos only the th gets attacked n get lightning on my de(♥♥♥♥♥♥♥s😡). I do like 3-6 attacks a day i get between 500k-1mil a day.

Ive been th10 for about 5 montsh. I get horrible loot but ive seen others do fine. Currently farming in c1.
1) about 5% of the time
2) anywhere from 5-7 hrs a day sometimes more or less depending work or no work
3) id wait till your heros are above 20 and walls lvl 9/10. Max all dark troops to highest possible for th9. Goodluck. Happy clashings!

Turned TH 10 mid june 2014, farmed @ masters and crystal with loons or giant hogs, depending on my elixir availability. The only thing left for me besides walls and heroes are 5 cannons and perhaps 25M worth of elixir for spell and troop upgrades.

1. Masters 3 once per 3-5 days, crystal on a good day 1-3 inactives.

2. 4-8 hours depending on work load.

3. Yes, just be smart with your raids and not to dependent with inactives.

th10 loot is perfectly fine, as long as youre a semi decent farmer you wont find any difference from th9, by that i mean stop relying on inactive bases. or else you will struggle at th10

I know, I'm just curious in how bad the loot is. I know I can find active bases with enough resources but I'm also curious of inactive bases. it helps kill my farming time. hehe.

but will all the inputs hete, I think I will be fine in th10.

It depends on the type of player you are.

Before the lix walls update I had a bit more time, so I was BAMing in C2 on collectors and easy storages. Profit on all three resources was decent. I would see a decent collector base 2-3 times in a 2hr session (There were loads and loads of collector bases, but many of them had next to no loot on offer) The loot I could get doing this took a dive after the lix walls update and never really recovered for me.

For most of my coc life I haven't had loads of time, so I tended to run bigger armies looking for bigger targets.

I'm now using loons in M3 hitting storages. This works perfectly well for me because I don't have loads of time to play. However, I would never do this early TH10, as I wouldn't satisfy the lix demand from the camps/lab/new drill.

In early TH10 I used hogs (before the GB/hero/skelly changes) to clear up on gold/lix, but largely sacrificing DE progression. Only had to do this for a few weeks to got the camps done and be a long way down the inferno/new x-bow.

There are a couple of guys in my clan having good success at TH10 in crystal with giant/wb/barch/gob type armies. Those guys are more active than me. One has finished legos and started lavas at the same time as keeping builders going.
