Too much dark elixer..?

So i'll skip the formalities and get right to my question.
Yesterday I was clashing late at night trying to get enough dark elixer to upgrade my archer queen. Sadly i was 100 DE short but i didn't feel like waiting for a whole army to train to get 100 DE so i just gemmed the last 100 DE. The point of this is to show that I had 0 DE in my storage. Now after that I immediately went to bed, and when I woke up I noticed I was raided by a TH10(I'm TH9) and I was offering 850 DE... ♥♥♥ how in gods name was I offering 850? I had 0 in my storage. While I know my pumps were mostly full, they are only level 4 and still it was a TH10. If it was a TH9 would I really be offering 930ish? If I can offer that much DE just from going to bed why don't I see everyone offering 2k DE? I don't know this just seemed wayyy to high for having 0 in my storage, can someone shed some light?

3 Max drills can offer up to 2500 DE so it wouldn't be too hard to imagine your drills would offer 850

But thats with an inactive base. How did just going to sleep offer 850?

Assuming you have 2 lv6 drills, it'd take about 6-7 hours of not being attacked before you lose that much. 6.5 hours of drilling = 1300 DE. 75% can be raided from drills so that's 975. 90% loot penalty brings it to 877.5... close enough

When being raided - 75% of any de in your drills is available to be looted -- with no cap....

at lvl4, your drill could have up to 720 max stored

Yea i agree. They would definently hold 850 if max nes can hold 2500.

a th9 having two lvl 4 drills offers 540x2=1080 I think

Im not a 100% sure on this. But I believe 75% of what's in pumps is raidable regardless of TH. (No loot penalty) Most likely this was the reason.

Uhhh... close enough :o

Anyways, OP should have the answer if he looks at the replay and watch to see how much DE is lost when a certain building gets destroyed. If something loses more than it should have, there's the answer which would be a bug of some sort
