The Attacking Strategies List!!!!
Hello!! I've been viewing a number of these threads and decided to create a list of the greatest attacking strategies. Some classics that everyone know, some that are unique to people, which I will be featuring a link to the creators thread. I am not creating this thread for a specific Town Hall, it is universal. Some may not work with your Town Hall, as you do not have the troops unlocked, but you can get them unlocked! Let's start off with a classic: BARCH.
BARCH is a simple combo, Barbarians and Archers (Maybe a Healer sometimes), but it is one of the most effective combination of troops in the game. Almost everyone can use it, and it can easily 1-Star a base. It is not great for wiping out the base, but it is a great combination for collector raids. They are also good for other raids too, just not ones that are insanely hard. I find it is most effective as a Town Hall 8, but I've heard it is good with TH 9 as well. That's all with BARCH. Let's do GOWIPE next.
GOWIPE is a complicated style, but is very effective against challenging opponents. It consists of Golems, Wizards/Witches, and PEKKAS. It may cost a lot of Elixir, but it does the trick. Though you must know how to use it, which is why most people use it at TH 9 or 10. I do not have this unlocked, so I really can't explain how to use them properly, but there are countless YouTube Videos on how to use them. Here is one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Oy5OIgU2KY. That is all I've got with GOWIPE. Next to GOWIWI.
GOWIWI is similar to GOWIPE, it uses Golems, but it uses both Wizards and Witches, without a PEKKA. It is also hard to use and must be use by someone with experience. It costs about the same as GOWIPE, but costs more DE than GOWIPE. It doesn't matter which of the two you use, as they are both roughly the same, with a few differences. BALLOONION is an interesting strategy of Air Troops: Balloons and Minions. Very easily taken down by a Air Defenses, so you need to know how to use it. I'm not very good at teaching people how to use strategies, so I am using Youtube Videos to help. Here is one explaining BALLOONION: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zp4bS0ztgiw. It doesn't cost terribly much, yet it gets the job done when needed. It is a great Clan War strategy, and can be good at normal raids too. It is helpful to have high levels of these troops, but it is not necessary as long as you know what you are doing. The strategy usually takes about an hour and a half to train, unless it is boosted of course. That is all with BALLOONION. Next up, a similiar strategy called LAVALOONION.
LAVALOONION is basically a more complicated BALLOONION, using Lava Hounds, Minions, and Balloons. A bit more costly than BALLOONION, but a bit more powerful as the LAVALOONIO Hound takes out the Air Defense. that is a. The next strategy is one of the most hated strategies: ZAPPING.
ZAPPING is probably the most hated strategy in the game. You can do it, but prepare to be revenged and hated. ZAPS is using Lightning spells on resources. Annoying, but not illegal. It works if you are willing to pay the price of Lightning spells and be hated. That is all with this imfamous strategy. Next up: Mass Drag.
MASS DRAG is a very powerful strategy. It is composed of all Dragons. It is mainly used for war, but sometimes used for other raids.
