You're both correct. The bases are removed in a manner of speaking--they get buried in the queue to the point where they become incredibly difficult to find.

Umm, I never said that the bases are deleted. I said they are removed from the matchmaking pool for about a week. After the week is up, they can be raided again some random number of times before being taken out again.
