Welcome and hello to all those who have visited this thread. In this thread I will be keeping track of my progress through gfx and photoshop. I will post as often as I can and keep updating, I also hope to become very experienced with photoshop!

1. The dimensions of this piece are very bizarre. If you are just starting out, I would suggest a more ordinary size of canvas.

2. The color scheme you attempted to use looks like a purple/violet and you nailed that in my opinion, however, it looks like you took an archer render and slapped it onto a black canvas, then slapped on a lightning stock and lowered the opacity a bit. You blended the archers face pretty well with the lightning, but the left of the piece really shows where the lightning stock cuts off.

3. Lighting: The overall piece is very dark and gloomy. Assuming this was the objective, you could dodge and burn a little bit, then add a light source coming from the top right of the archer's head. You can learn basic lighting here

OVERALL:
I would crop out the left portion that shows the black background, and fix up the lighting. KIU!!!
