Most common is Lavaloonian. Check here for several replays and troop compositions:

Here's an example I just uploaded today.
Attacker TH10: 2 Level 6 Wall Breakers, 29 Level 6 Balloons, 18 Level 6 Minions, 3 Level 3 Lava Hounds, Level 40 Archer Queen, Level 36 Barbarian King, 3 Level 5 Rage Spells, 2 Level 5 Freeze Spells
Defender TH10: Level 20 Archer Queen, Level 17 Barbarian King, Rank 20/20
There's also Lavadragloon

All links will be updated as I add more replays and get them tagged.
I am developing a new one
What I am sure on is
1 Lava Hound
2 Healers
10 Valkyrie
12 Balloons
6 WB
6-8 Wizards
I have also been running a golem but am not sure if that is best. I can 3 star weak th10 with it and 2 star mid th10 but I am still tweaking it
they need for thm to cost more dark elixer and make them stronger, 10 damage they are weak! and worthless . give them 80 damage and make them cost more and that would be lvl 1
Not th 10 but at 9 most 3 stars are 4 hounds and very few minions. Max of 10. Watch the IIB loss against the asian clan. All their three stars are laloonion.
I feel like lava hounds are no good at lvl 2. Has anyone had any luck using non maxed out lava hounds?
There are quite a lot of fantastic videos out there outlining great Lava Hound attack strategies. Besides my own (all located on this thread) I'm a huge fan of Predator's in depth strategy replays. Check those out here. (poor audio quality but great content)
Enjoy and good luck!
I think the clan that wrecked IIB used GoLaLoon which I hear can be devastating.
Nio tell us more about your idea please. Im intrigued
