I am in gold league 2 with 1745 trophies. I was just attacked by someone with 1925 trophies. Can there be matchups among different leagues? It wasn't a revenge attack.

i am pretty certain that the matchmaking tries to get you to pair with someone in your own league
but there is also the one up, one down aspect.
its not perfect.

I'm pretty sure that you can get paired with someone up to 200 trophies above or below you
It happens when I'm nexting too. It's not really unfair all bases from gold 1- crystal 2 are similar.
Thanks. I wasn't sure. I thought matchups were done within the leagues. I guess +/-200 trophies is as fair as anything.
