Adding "Founder" Role to clan?

With any online game, and interactions with other people/players there is going to be tons of curiosity. Questions that some have, that seem trollish. I'm wondering what the community thinks about adding the Founder role to the Clans.. I'm bringing this to the forums because after we recruited some new players, or talk about merging they constantly ask if its okay with the leader. Or ask if the Leader is online to perform a change to the clan, bio, trophy count, promotions demotions.. But a lot of people seem to give so much empowerment to the Leader and not to the others. Maybe it's different for our clan but we know each other in real life. I am the founder and I rotate leader with one of my closest friends. For various reasons..
I have friends I like to visit on clash, or some players that we've had and left but are still civil. There's multiple reasons I think I should be able to check on close friends and family in other clans without having to make any sacrifices.. Also to make my clan feel as important and to make them feel better about playing, when they help out a lot etc. It's not a big deal to me to switch Leadership to make my clan feel equal.

But it's not doing that.. it's making everyone feel less empowering when no one else gets leadership. And now my close friend has had leadership for awhile, we're doing okay but I feel as if people go to him now for everything when i'm the founder, and had to beg him to leave his clan to join lol.. I didn't persuade him or anything after we got comfortable we decided it would be a good idea to rotate with leadership, I just think it's weird how much of a difference people make it out to be.. As I stated, it's not so much that it bothers me, but you get the trolls and they are actually good and donate a ton of great troops but then talk to me like I'm a random, he was removed from the clan but to each his own.

I think adding in a Founder clan role with the same duties a Leader has and maybe one extra would be an awesome improvement.. And I understand (you may say well why not just stay in your clan and shush up) haha but as I said it doesn't really bother me, and I don't usually leave my clan ever.. But if some friends need help with a clan war attack or some donations I'm not going to hesitate.. Remember this is a free cell phone game, gotta keep the fun aspect in it!

Yes but that's exactly the problem lol.. I assumed I wasnt the only one that Created a clan, and has promoted someone to leader.. Like I said it's not a big problem. but i think adding something in like Founder, would be very noticeable.. Like the OG of the clan so to speak lol..

I think the leader just gets too much shine, and people go crazy about it.. I'm not crazy about it. I just thinking adding in Founder would be a neat idea. No to steer away from the leadership but to still give some shine to the right hand etc..
There's usually always a second in command.. And I want my Co-leads to all be equal. But I'm sure there are severalllll clans where 1-2 people made it or feel that they both are leaders. so Opposed to switching leaders etc, and dealing with being talked down you can just be the Founder, and have a Leader. And they can still be switchable etc but just so you are aware who the numero uno and two are.. I dunno it's just an idea I had.

I think hes trying to say a founder for clan families. It would be easier to manage. Yes, generally the leader is the founder, but in a family, there is only one founder but multiple clans. I like the idea.

Founder isnt a role
It seems like you want to be leader because you are the founder but for whatever stupid reason your not, to solve your dilemma you just have to be leader again.

no... i left the clan as a leader because of vacation and no wifi and Sprint.... i gave it to a trusted person and now dont have the time to be the leader

You obviously dont have the time to lead a clan so there is no reason for people to treat you like the leader. Een if youre fairly inactive you can still be leader and let cos deal with everything for the most part, if not then just be a co and stay like that. If you feel emasculated for some reason then put the fact that your the founder in the description :p

I was discussing a similar idea with my friends, with the addition that only people who had joined the clan in the first 48 hours eligible (applying to new clans, no way to tell for older ones so give everyone a week or so to give it before taking the function away from active clans).

Nothing happens? Like the other post said. I think there should be an added function to show who was there from day 1, and who is at the round table and what their roles are etc.. (Founder, Leader, (left hand and right hand of the clan) Co-Leads (the core and meaningful players that have earned their seats) & Elders.

i think this is what coleader was meant for

one leader
one or two coleaders
few elders
rest members

obviously now that didnt work out

we have clans of 49 coleaders

Adding founder would deteriorate the image of the current leader were the founder to leave the clan or stop playing. I think that identifying a leader is plenty. Besides, the only thing that founder would bring is an improvement to one's ego in their clan if they are no longer leader.
