Adding "Founder" Role to clan?
With any online game, and interactions with other people/players there is going to be tons of curiosity. Questions that some have, that seem trollish. I'm wondering what the community thinks about adding the Founder role to the Clans.. I'm bringing this to the forums because after we recruited some new players, or talk about merging they constantly ask if its okay with the leader. Or ask if the Leader is online to perform a change to the clan, bio, trophy count, promotions demotions.. But a lot of people seem to give so much empowerment to the Leader and not to the others. Maybe it's different for our clan but we know each other in real life. I am the founder and I rotate leader with one of my closest friends. For various reasons..
I have friends I like to visit on clash, or some players that we've had and left but are still civil. There's multiple reasons I think I should be able to check on close friends and family in other clans without having to make any sacrifices.. Also to make my clan feel as important and to make them feel better about playing, when they help out a lot etc. It's not a big deal to me to switch Leadership to make my clan feel equal.
But it's not doing that.. it's making everyone feel less empowering when no one else gets leadership. And now my close friend has had leadership for awhile, we're doing okay but I feel as if people go to him now for everything when i'm the founder, and had to beg him to leave his clan to join lol.. I didn't persuade him or anything after we got comfortable we decided it would be a good idea to rotate with leadership, I just think it's weird how much of a difference people make it out to be.. As I stated, it's not so much that it bothers me, but you get the trolls and they are actually good and donate a ton of great troops but then talk to me like I'm a random, he was removed from the clan but to each his own.
I think adding in a Founder clan role with the same duties a Leader has and maybe one extra would be an awesome improvement.. And I understand (you may say well why not just stay in your clan and shush up) haha but as I said it doesn't really bother me, and I don't usually leave my clan ever.. But if some friends need help with a clan war attack or some donations I'm not going to hesitate.. Remember this is a free cell phone game, gotta keep the fun aspect in it!
