English has been around a lot longer then 15 years and I've been gaming for over 20. My phones spell check it doesn't like "noob" or "orconsole".
Where's your PvP example of a raid being called "farming"?

Here's another vocabulary phrase: flame war.
I was talking about the standard video game terms coined since 90's and early 2000 you ♥♥♥♥♥♥. You can shove your phone up your ♥♥♥, hillbilly, it doesn't prove anything. Like I said, farming is doing the same thing for prolonged periods of time, it doesn't even have to be about killing anything. It can be about anything. "I'm farming trophies" "I'm farming yellow flowers" "I'm farming yellow skeleton archers". It's doing the same thing over and over to achieve some greater goal, usually more loot, money for upgrades or selling them for profit. ♥♥♥♥♥♥.
farming and raiding are essentially the same thing.
in clash, there are 3 major types of raiding.
farming - only concerned with getting resources, not overly concerned with trophy count. will attack bases with higher resource counts regardless of trophy count. will end raid after getting most of or all of resources even if it means losing trophies.
pushing - only concerned with aquiring trophies, not overly concerned with resources. will generally attack bases with higher trophy counts regardless of available loot.
sniping - only concerned with finding bases with open outside TH.

10char:rolleyes:
If farming is attacking for resources then what is doing nothing but collecting your own resources and attacking. I see a lot more people saying the do that now a days but they call if farming too.
Using farming, raiding, sniping, and pushing makes things clearer. Ya a lot of times you know what they mean but sometimes you can interpret it either way.
And ya I'm a redneck I don't find it offensive, saving up for an cross bow for deer season next year 😜
