Vocabulary words, Raid - Farm - Snipe
Is it just me or do half the people in CoC and the forum have their vocab backwards? It bugs me a lot!
Last I checked in the real world FARMING is growing a crop (resources) and then harvesting them (collecting from what you grew).
RAIDING is busting in someone's door and attacking or taking their things (stealing resources from OTHER PLAYERS)
SNIPING is a pinpoint strike (attacking a TH only)
Yet I see people say things like "I'm farming in champs for the league bonus taking out 50% or a TH" Wouldn't that be SNIPING & RAIDING as your not just collecting your own RSS!?
"I farm in 1700, I just Barch the TH8s." If your attacking them shouldn't you say I'm raiding TH8s in 1700?
I'm not a grammar Nazi but words usually have a meaning. If I say "I'm using GoWiPe in C2, 9 dragons 1 Lava Hound and 3 archers", that wouldn't be accurate? I'm a farmer does not mean you raid snipe and harvest your own resources. It means you DO NOT attack, the only resources you get come from YOUR collectors, NOT someone else. If you were farming them wouldn't that mean you grew them from something less to something more then harvested them?
Edit: Most ironic farming statement. " I'm farming in C3(where ever), loot sucks here." How would you know you aren't raiding anyone!?
