Outside Structures - Close to Wall vs. Away from Walls
Hello,
I've noticed many different base designs take a different approach when it comes to outside structures.
Some base designs place the outside structures close to the walls, while others place them far away from the walls.
I'm just trying to understand the advantages and disadvantages to both techniques.
Here is what I have been able to come up with:
Advantages to having outside structures close to walls:
- Enemy troops are in range of defenses when they attack outside structures, I feel this would work best against barchers
Advantages of having outside structures away from walls:
- Pushes out the drop zone for enemy troops
Which method do you prefer? and if possible why?
