Remove or "Un-Link" Account From One Of Two Devices

Hello, noob here.
I have one account (one village) on two devices. (Android Tablet and ios iPhone). I want to remove or unlink the original village, from my iPhone, and leave the original village, intact and playable, on my tablet.
I want to create a new village, on my ios iPhone, without losing my original village on my tablet...
The existing village is important to me, and i do not want to harm, or lose it..

Does anyone know how to do this, seemingly simple, procedure?

As far as i know the only way to do it is to factory reset the device.

was it originally made on the iPhone or Android?

Kinda sucks that this is the only way to get rid of an account
