Does lvl 6 archers die from 1 hit by a lvl 6 mortor?

though lv 7 archers will need lv 7 mortar i believe

No, DPS means damage per second.

I mean by damage per shot obviously! you can't have 40 damage per second

Damage per shot means like that mortar have 9 damage per shot
Every shot takes 4 second so 4sec x 9damage = 36damage so I mean by damage per shot not per second

I know what you mean, but putting just "dps" without saying that it's for damage per shot, means its damage per second. DPS is always damage per second, unless otherwise stated.

Mortars one-shot same or lower level archers. ex. level 5 mortars one shot level 5 archers and below, level 6 mortars level 6 etc
