Except for mines/pumps I would say you are the same as I was when I upgraded. I have had no problems since.
I wouldn't upgrade the TH until you have at least 75% of your walls maxed...
So should I continue to let my town hall upgrade or finish the walls first and cancel it? Thanks guys

You can go when you have atleast 75% grape, maxed everything except barracks and collectors.
