The Absurdity of Barracks Resetting Troops When You Cancel Nexting
Read and watch video carefully! This is NOT about simply Barracks training troops while you're nexting and raiding, most people already know that. It's about Barracks resetting all troops it qeueu'd up while your camp is full and when you stop nexting and return to your home base.
The weird part is not that the barracks simply just do this, the weird part is that it does it “behind closed doors,” and when you stop nexting instead of raiding, the barracks simply rewind and reset all troops that were trained for as long as you were nexting. This is just very absurd, doesn’t make a lot of sense as to why the barracks were programmed to behave this way. Either way, it’s valuable information for all clashers to know, so watch the video to get an understanding of what I mean:

Quantitative Proof of this:
I had 2 barracks training Barbs, 2 Barracks Archers, 2 Dark Barracks Minions
Barbs 20 secs (1 housing space), Archers 25 secs (1 housing space), Minions 45 mins (2 housing space)
60/20*2+60/25*2+60/(45/2)*2 = 16 troops per minute
All barracks were full, meaning the last troop in each barrack is instantly inserted into army camp. 2 rax Barbs, 2 rax Archers, and 2 rax Minions means that a total of 8 housing space will be instantly provided to you.
In the first scenario I had 56 troops ready when i return home. I nexted for 2 minutes and raided for 1 minute for a total of 3 minutes.
8 + 3*16 = 56 troops
The exact number of troops I had when I returned to home base!
In the second scenario I came home to 22 troops. I nexted for 2 minutes, returned to home base, and immediately attacked a base for exactly 1 minute. Since this theory claims that barracks resets all troops when you return to home base, the barracks restart their train cycle when I’ve attacked for that 1 minute:
8 + 1*16 = 24 troops
This is still consistent with the 22 troops I returned to home base with. Maybe I returned a few seconds earlier.
So you can see this absurdity or oddity or whatever you would like to call it. The barracks train troops the longer you’re searching for a raid and the longer you’re in a raid. But if you change your mind and return to home base instead, then all the troops the barracks trained “behind closed doors,” somehow just returned to being “untrained.” If that makes any sense…

So in his example number two, you would waste 2 mins of cook time. So for most efficient farming, don't come back to your camp without attacking first.
