I'm pretty new to this game (1 month?)
I've read that maxing out before heading to the next TownHall is recommended.
I currently am at TH5 and I only need to complete walls. I am currently finding they are frustratingly expensive and are taking much longer than I remembered (TH4, walls lv.4). I would imagine it doesn't get easier at TH7.
I am thinking when I upgrade my TownHalls, maybe I should start with walls first? Once they are out of the way, then I feel that everything should feel much cheaper.
Please share me your opinion on maxing out walls first (as a way to get rid of the frustration).
I feel I'm at a point where I just want to take a break from the game altogether. Upgrading walls feels like repetitive motions. (raid/upgrade/repeat). By 50% you feel, "wow, this game isn't moving as fast as it previously was."
I am just imagining what upgrading walls is going to feel like at the next level...
We all love new troops. We all love new defences. We all understand upgrading. I think we hate maxing walls.
How do you keep the game fresh? How do you balance between upgrading walls and still wanting to play more?
Anyone care to share your thoughts on maxing walls first, or taking a break from the game because concentrating on solely walls feels stale at the moment?
Thanks for reading.
