I'm happy for them to choose to pay so we can play for free. You shouldn't have anything against gemmers. We all make the choice of how to play the game (gem or farm) but whichever someone chooses shouldn't affect whether you respect/like him/her or not. :)
I don't gem, but if nobody paid to play, then this game would not be so popular and free. Let each player play how they want to.

Just a simple question. Which option is better you paying 10 bucks each month or few gemmers paying that on your behalf? Since SC has to get the money from somewhere to make those awesome updates and keep on improving the game.
Personally, I would like to say a big 'Thank You' to the gemmers for making this awesome game free for me always forever. I hope you guys keep continuing buying gems :p
Gemmers just suport the company if the game was free and we could not buy gems supercell would not be able to keep up plus in the league im in therre are tons of gemmers with easy base ;D

It's a good idea and as much as I'd like to make the game fair, it's not, and the $10 charge would limit the amount of people who play the game, and if few people played then it would get boring fast.

Just recently, I attacked with 12 maxed dragons and maxed spells (and I haven't gemmed anything), and completely failed at the raid and watched as my dragons were ruthlessly butchered.
Even with max troops you won't always win.
If I had to pay in the beginning I wouldn't have. If I had to pay to keep my current account I'd be mad but I wouldn't pay.

The community would be cut down to a fraction if everyone had to pay upfront or a subscription.
Ad games don't usually generate enough revenue to get as far as CoC. With all the nexting I barely play anymore so I guess my point is moot though. But in all honesty the question is moot as well.
Gemmers pay for time, everyone else plays for if. Without the whales there wouldn't be a TH 8 or anything later then that.

No I wouldn't. If I wanna pay for a game i get a playstation game instead. If you have to pay a tenner before you can download clash, no one would play it lol...or very few people...it wouldn't be profitable , as someone pointed out.
Why hate on the Gemmers tho? They pay for us freeloaders :cool: i salute them!
