And for some th9 like me I could care even less, my DE tank is always full ~190k. Im done with DE troops (even valk) and hero. Feel free to zap! For you who even have 500k gold stored will have your base flatten. This tiny gold will be a road brick to my full lava walls.
Alright, thats aside, I feel pity for those who lighting DE. You will find much more efficient method of getting it, like 10k/hr

Best thing you can do is go to a league with NO TH9s in it and don't have 3 resources on hand. Meaning if your going to upgrade troops don't have much gold or DE if your going for Defenses don't have much Elixer or DE. If your going for BK ddon't have much Elixer or Gold on hand.
TH 9s are generally struggling with loot so if they loose elixer or gold to hit you you'll get hit less.
Make sure your TH is clearly in trapped and far from base as possible but still in bottom of screen. And set up a good ringus or something similar so Giants and Hogs just circle your base getting splashed the hole time.
Ever since realizing the value of valks on defense I've never considered giants to be much of an issue...they provide some very entertaining replays though, giants turn into a bloody mist. Just ask the th8s in my clan that I give 4 wiz and a valk to.Quote:

What makes me mad is not only do I put out my TH for them to take, I also put out a nearly full gold storage. I mean what am I going to do when I can't even collect my gold right?
