Don't know how and why people keep saying there is no loot when apparently TH9 players keep finding my base and rolling it. In the past day or so I have already lost over 2.000,000 in gold, lix and de combined. I'm on the verge of throwing my device against the wall. Leaving my TH outside is not even working anymore, they take that and go for the loot. Seriously if people can't find loot, they shouldn't be able to find my base.

As a TH 8, I constantly got killed by TH 9's. Defenses were irrelevant, no matter what layout I used, bigger badder bases took what they wanted. So as a strategy, I stopped breaking my shield so frequently. I would only break my shield if I had time for a long raid session, and I would also loot a little extra for whatever upgrade I was saving for to allow the spanking my base would take after logging off.

Because loot is so scarce, if you are a new TH and are holding a lot in resources, expect to get smashed. Someone has been nexting long enough and they will find you. I hate to be that guy, but getting raided is part of the game. I lost 320K/320K/2000DE right before I hit TH9. I had full gold/elix storages, 55,000DE, and a clan castle full of loot. I just revenges him an hour ago while practicing GoWiPe for a clan war. Needless to say, I got my 640K back and much more. Max TH9 sure gives a lot with full storages....
And yeah, I agree with the above posters. When I was TH8, I hopped between 1450 and 1600. I have heard 1280-1320 was good tho, just try changing your league. Those lv6 Giants do work against even a max TH8
I don't think you have enough resources to satisfy all the CoC players.
Loot still is bad :rolleyes:
The reason people at TH9 complain about loot is
1. They're at a bad trophy range.
2. They can't spend a couple extra minutes making a cheap yet strong army composition to raid storages. (They only farm colelctors.
3. They just copy what everyone else says instead of actually studig themselves.
4. They are too greedy and expect too much.
Ive been farming in Gold 1/2 and half my attacks are collector raids and the other half are storage raids. If I average out the. stoage raids army an army used to get collectors (Which is basically a part of my storage raid) I raid an aberage of once every 15 minutes and I can get about 200k gold per raid x 4 raids per hours. = 800k gold per hour and if I get a lot of colelctor raids maybe 1,000,000. Is that great? No. Is it "no loot" like a lot of people say? Absolutely not.
Town Hall 10 I won't say if it is bad since I never experienced myself and I'd rather test personally when i get there instead of going with the crowd.
Yep I agree Loot at TH9 is okay, I used to raid in gold 2 as a TH9 with giant healer, its a lot of fun and you could get a lot of loot really easily especially from TH8 players where you just smash them.Quote:

So.... despite all the great troop and building upgrades there are at TH10 raiding is dull as dishwater.
Clan war is better though because as a TH10 you can take stronger bases and you get freeze spell.
I'd throw in giant/arch as well. But ya pretty much, that's why I plan to remain at Th9 until i can't even store another gold coinQuote:

But there are times it just doesn't pay off as well. Only the league bonus on the win keeps one going during such times
