element bomb/trap
I've heard people talk about a freeze trap, but I thought about taking it a bit further and make it an element bomb.
What it is is a trap that you can pick from like 4 or 5 options. A freeze bomb where it would freeze the troops in its radius. A lightning bomb where it damages the troops (2x on PEKKA ). A fire bomb where it damages the troops (but less than the lightning bomb) and it burns the troops for a little time after. A grass/ground bomb that slows the troops for the rest of the raid to the speed of a golem. And lastly a wind bomb where it shots the troops (not golems, heroes, or pekkas) randomly across the base. Each option would probably need a different range of effect to balance it out.

Hey first of all let me tell you i like the idea and creativity put into it.
Freeze sounds good - i only think it should be a rly small radius
Lightening bomb sounds just fight.
Fire bomb sounds just fine too
Grass/ground bomb - what is the difference between this and the Freeze bomb? - Also slowing a golum more then he already walks? :P
Wind Bomb - sounds too RNG. This can probably either make your win or totally screw it arround and there for don't rly like it.
As much as i love the idea - i kinda think with the new mortar and 2 skeleton bombs the Defence has already grown pretty much and don't know if it should get stronger yet.
Edit: removed quote (used it to check on your idea's while writing my respond)

Yeah I didn't really know how I felt about the wind option either . I just thought of it as I was writing my post and just threw it in.
As far as the grass/ground option it would be different from the freeze option because It would last the whole raid instead of only a couple of seconds and because It would have a larger radius than the freeze.
And it wouldn't slow down golems it would simply slow down all troops to the move speed of the golem. So the pekka, wizard, and witch would all be moving as slow as the golem, but the golem's speed wouldn't change.
But I agree the defense would probably be OP if they added this without a offensive boost. But I thought I would just throw it out there.
Thanks for your feedback.

Sounds like a solid idea, I love how you gave the village owner a choice between numerous traps; really makes the player feel even more in control of their base. None of these ideas are overpowered at all, other than possibly the freeze and wind but a couple of tweaks will balance it out for sure. Good ideas!
