If higher level healers could heal each other, would this help?
(still wouldn't help with the seeking airmines, but this would only take out one of the healers)

Mate i come from valhalla and we love fun combos lol. We dont just use loons to tank a bit, we use them to kill off an AD or two, many interesting ways to combine both ground and air and be viable in wars. But the problem ive seen time and time again isnt the healer dying quickly (only when used in a strategic manner of course) its that the healer gets caught up on a single troop or a rouge group of troops. Now an extra lvl for th10 would be nice but still believe healing rouge troops is not the way healers should work. Just my experience from playing too many RPGs.
Hmm when you put it that way I'm inclined to agree with you :)
In the end, healer ai has been tweaked recently so the devs clearly have their attention on the troop being useless (i thought now it targets the highest number of troops? And healers are supposed to be deployed in different angles so they dont all go off together).
I wouldnt be surprised if they do change it somehow to make it more viable at high levels soon.
I don't think this will reallyhe.lp. i tink the problem with healers is that they dont have enuff helth, and they die too soon. sure yu could use loons, but still, they dont really stay alive very long. while in some scenarios, multi target cold bebetter, I think in most scenarios, a splash would work better. As in the other one, I say it would be better if they heal themselves every time they heal someone else.
Im not sure how i feel on the healers healing itself or another healer, i do like the idea just unsure. When youre talking attacks those few extra seconds can mean the difference between an extra star or not. Whats most scenarios? Your giants, golems, wiz, valks, hogs, insert more ground troops here splitting up. It usually ends up happening at some point in a lot of raids. If youre using many troops in a strategy then healers currently find 1 group and spam that group, but if say it targeted 1 golem, 2+ wiz maybe a skeleton or a random witch that just got targeted by defense and a hero, would this not help your raid more so than your 1 golem, or rogue troop getting healed as they go ham on those high lvl walls? (Has to be the most funny way to watch a healer fail ever lol)
I once saw a guy that used healers in Masters to trophy push. Probably won't see that again.
I have never sen anyone above Gold II even use healers once, let alone upgrade them. They are made for Giant Healer, which a low level strategy, so they become useless around TH7 or 8...
I see it every day atm from someone in m2, against nice th10s. A troop isnt limited to one strategy and trust me strategy plays a big part in these raids >.< expand your mind and have fun with your raids, who knows you may find a good combo that actually works like this gent. However it takes 1 rogue troop/group to mess it all up

Healers have already been balanced out in the latest update. They can only be shot down by archer towers and air defences.
