Usage Of Extra Slots in the machines

i don't understand one thing why do we have extra slots in the machines when they are literally useless because only 1 slot produce at 1 time why not like the town 6 slots 6 servings at same time .. SC should consider this if we use diamonds to make more slots then they should all produce at same time not one by one this way farmers have more items in less time and less frustration as well . also do something about tom's timing , axes and specially Barn And Silo upgrading tools . rest all is amazing love this game like a crazy maniac badly addicted to it and want it better and better with time .

Sorry, that I'm not able to give you the reply and support you are looking for. My opinion is, that you have pretty much answered most yourself - extra slots useless? You can use them to produce all the time, also when you are not playing and/or sleeping. If you wan't to speed things up more when playing - use diamonds, it's business.
As far as I can see, you are looking for things to be faster and easier in general, and can understand that, just dont believe you should get your hopes up to much, because it's business, sorry. And others like me would maybe even get a bit bored, that's a matter of opinion.
Toms timing, axes, BEMs and SEMs faster and easier? Same answer here to, I dont really disagree and am sure others would like it to, it's just not a problem for me, and will be surprised if SC changes much in these things, again it's business and SCs choice, and several will be in conflict with this to. http://forum.supercell.net/showthrea...s-and-requests
Personally, I dont have problems with anything, deal with the game as it is, and find my ways to make things work.

I can understand you just fine, and am personally not using fishingnets for the exact reasons you mention. Not worth the trouble to me. And I dont think, it's good that many new members join the forum, because of different frustrations about the game. I just choose to to take it as it is, and find my ways to manage things as they are, and can explain pretty much everything about the game being the way it is, from SCs business goals in the game - to get as many players as possible to buy and use diamonds. It's how this world of "free" games, with in-game-buying works, and it's nothing special with SCs games. Haven't bought any diamonds myself, and have 1.200 all free diamonds from the game. The few things I would like getting changed in the game, is in some of my posts around this forum. We as players can't all agree on everything in my opinion, we can only choose how to look at things.
SC do say something like - Never say never, somewhere i couldn't find right now, so anything is as such possible, some things are maybe just more likely to happen than others.

Everyone doesn't have the same amount of time to play. Also, everyone doesn't use the same strategy. If my playtime is limited to once or twice a day it seems logical to drop 10 nets and retrieve 30 fish tomorrow.

When I'm low on lures I drop nets while I replenish. Fortunately there are many ways to play so just find what works for you and ignore the rest.

If you have your 10 fishing nets ready then in 20 hours you get 30 fishes(assuming you have cleared all your fishing areas), now can anybody catch 30 fishes in 20 hours using lures alone, I think it is impossible.

The longest cooldown is 4 hours so for simplicity let's use that. When all fishing locations are clear, retrieve 10 fish with lures. Four hours later all locations are clear, retrieve another 10. Repeat again in another four hours. That's 30 fish in about 8 hours.

But lures are limiting factor here. Most of the people has 2 stars on their lure maker. So 1h34m per lure (worm). That makes 12 in 20h. Even for green lure it's 14 in 20h.

If you had mastered lure maker and net maker. Non-stop production gives you 21 fish per day from nets and 16 fish per day from worms.

Starting with zero lures and zero nets wasn't in the equation. sabyasachi123's post begins with "if you have your 10 fishing nets ready..." so I posted my statement with the understanding that lure quantity isn't an issue.

Thanks, everyone, for posting some of the timing options for lures and nets. I'm pretty much of a worm girl myself. I usually have one or two nets in the far reaches of the pond. I try to put them down at 10 hour intervals. Then I have 4 holes for lobsters and three for lures. I usually can keep up with my machines' and town visitors' demands. I'm currently saving up expansion materials to open my last two fishing holes. Can't wait!

On the original question of the machine production queue. I'm thrilled that I can line up a bunch of stuff, go away, come back hours later and refill the queue. I love the resource management decisions to be made: should I fill all the slots? should I leave a couple open in case I get a boat or visitor order?? Of course, that chocolate bar could land on the little table in front of the candy machine in less than 20 hours and it wouldn't hurt my feelings!:p
