Does the tesla count? When the spell is dropped at the tesla's spot will it reveal the tesla's spot?
Not that it would bother me to see one...plus most people put them in their walls, and don't use them as traps.
Why does it have to last? If i drop it, see where the traps are, then I don't need it to last. Maybe its a permanent effect?

Interesting concept. I don't think knowing the location of the traps is worth the spell factory space though. I'd rather have the extra rage spell.
